This was Paterno’s last B1G Media Day. PSU was 8-1 that season before the political storm and media circus with ex assistant football coach happened. Paterno was Head Coach from 1966 to 2011 and fired before the Nebraska game. They finished 9-4 under interim head coach Tom Bradley. Bill O’Brien the Patriots assistant was hired as PSU’s 16th HC. PSU went 8-4 & 7-5 under BOB as they were on probation for his two years as head coach. They also could not go to any bowl games.

The irony in this interview. Talking about programs getting in trouble and how they havent. Then a year later being the program with the worst violation or whatever you want to call it. The terrible things that were covered up to protect the program. Crazy.
