It's clear that the Celtics really live and die by the 3's; They either lead by 30 to 50 points or lose at home by 10 to 15 pts, home court isn't even an advantage for them, at times it works against their own

I agree with most, but they can't switch those slip screens or else they would have wide-open dives to the basket. Max Strus and Caris Levert are elite at reading those coverages and would pick them apart.

Teams should mostly practice defense under duress because now every team wants to push before defense gets "set". Set defense is obsolete. Defense on the fly is the new defense. Celtic reads were horrible when a defender was in there face showing hands and sliding feet.

With all due respect, this isn’t a Mazzulla problem. This is a Tatum/Brown/Horford leadership problem. The Celtics urgency or inconsistency used to wax and wane under Stevens and under Udoka that one year too - he’ll under Udoka they would never seem to win at home!! You can’t coach effort in the pros the same way you coach effort in youth ball, HS ball or even college ball for that matter. The coach can adjust, cajole and implore all they want but if the major players are all going to decide “no worries, we’ll lock in at some point here and be fine,” and then that point never comes then that’s on them. These guys have had an entire season of knowing how to defend collectively and have been talking all season about how they’re waiting for the postseason to come and are using the regular season to breed consistency… and then they go and do this. I’m with other people here. It’s maddening as a fan except I don’t put it on the coach. You guys are all highly paid professionals supposedly hungry for a championship… except they don’t seem to bring that “hungry to win a championship” urgency into every game.

Man I miss a good butt chewing from a coach! I get in so much trouble for chewing out my players! This is not helping lololol

When their shots aren't falling, they are disengaged on defense. Its that simple! They are not a defense first team. The 2008 Championship Celtics were defense first team and used that to feul their offense.

I'm glad fans left with 5 mins left in the game. Let those players see how badly they let down their city and fans. Shits embarrassing and I'm in the comfort of my own home.
