Exactly my thoughts. Truly on point comment. The perfidious planning is so obvious. Distasteful and disgusting. I don't know how, but I'd like to see him being punished for all what he has done to Sophie and their daughters.

He's literally so gross. She was talking about the issues privately in her own home and he went and blew it all up. It feels so unplanned and unhinged. I feel like there's so much more to the history of Joe Jonas's villain story that we all just don't know. I pray that this coverage of him and general dislike will make others feel better about coming out about their stories of mistreatment.

That’s why he filed in the USA because he knew (even without denying her the children’s passports) that while divorce proceedings are ongoing….the court will order the children remain where they are currently located. Very calculating how he did things and tried to smear her at the same time as a bad mum 🤦‍♀️ he just dug his own grave, because yes though he will win temporarily by forcing them to stay in the USA but ultimately it will go against him in final proceedings…judges don’t like such underhanded ish in family courts.

Let's be clear for one moment: his team could've easily said that she was badmouthing him but noooo. They chose to keep it vague so people can speculate and the worst scenarios could be trending. I even thought she did something to the kids but then again he would've used that against her. My conclusion is: this was planned since the day he took the kids back to the US knowing that she'll be filming and that he was going on tour. And the smear campaign was a plan to get him full custody but it backfired.

He's not doing anything wrong. He's literally just keeping the kids in their primary legal residence (the States) and Sophie is claiming "international kidnapping". Lol. For what? Keeping the kids at home? That's literally his legal obligation. Like you're not legally ALLOWED to move kids around the world DURING a divorce case. When Joe agreed to move to England before... he pictured them living as a married couple in England. But the marriage broke down. Now he doesn't want to move to England anymore. So he doesn't consent to changing their joint kids primary address anymore (it has to be a unanimous agreement by both parents). So what is he doing wrong? The Mother doesn't have any extra "control" of the kids than the Father. They are equal. And Joe Jonas is NOT moving the kids to Australia or Canada (which would require Sophie's consent). He is simply....... not doing anything. He's just staying put with the kids in their old home, not changing anything at all... (which does not require Sophie's consent, obviously.)

that being said, I met Kevin Jonas at disney world. He noticed my sister and i (19, 23) trying not to look at them and his body guard came over and asked us if we wanted to meet him. He was extremely nice and down to earth and they didn’t have to do that :)

Soo creepy he was listening to the footage of her and her friend. I don’t think the first thing they’re going to talk about is him, so I don’t think he got a notification someone was at the door at check to see who visiting. He was watching them sitting down having a convo. That’s probably not the first time he’s done that too

this definitely happens!! especially the way the market is now, it gets to the point that a few buyers are willing to pay top dollar so the homeowners (especially ones selling a house with a lot of sentimental value) will often try to chose people who will live in the home for a long time, a raise a family in it, and not make too many renovations rather than someone buying it as a vacation home or a rental property

That part about breaking up with his wife on social media is an obvious lie because they had a fight that triggered the divorce on his birthday few weeks before hand and she literally made an Instagram post on social media less than 24hrs to the divorce filing that she posted she mutually and amicably ended their marriage as a united decision. You don't post something like that if you didn't agree to the divorce. Plus based on the divorce documents it literally said it was mutual decision. If she actually believe her husband wrongfully abducted her kids and wrongfully filed a divorce process she could literally filed the Hague lawsuit in UK forcing the kids and Joe to travel to the UK for the court hearing. She only filed the Hague lawsuit after she was in NY talking with the lawyers and how the lawyer literally told them both there is a court order that prevent the kids from leaving the country while in the process of a divorce and the lawyer was holding the passports to prevent them from breaking the law. If the divorce was filed in the UK the same thing would had happened. They would be charged with international kidnapping if they attempt to take the kids out of the country without settling their divorce and custody agreements. Plus Joe made a statement agreeing to share custody and responsibilities and doesn't mind kids living in both UK and US. Sophie hasn't agreed to shared custody and she also made statements about how Joe promised her the UK property and how he put down 10% down payment on her dream home and wrote a real estate love letter to make the purchase. The house is under contingency until December and if Joe backs down on paying for the house Sophie will be responsible for the property if she stills want it. And based on her networth she can't afford the €9 million UK home because her networth is only $12 million. She also signed a Prenup so she won't be able to get any money from Joe. This whole case sounds like she want full custody so she could get Joe to pay for her living situation in the UK through child support. It's also really hard to enforce payment for alimony and child support through international divorces.

Very true observation. One could argue that she has no obligation to say anything because it's not her marriage. At the same time- she too used to cover up her baby's face on social media too, for privacy- as Sophie did, but Joe didn't respect the mother's decision on that, if it proved that he was a better parent. This whole divorce has nothing to do with feminism. It's just 2 rich adults can't agreeing with each other and they want what they want. Just shared custody already, she can live in UK with her kids half the time and He can have the kids live in the US half the time. There are strict child protection laws when it comes to court cases involving children in the UK that restrict media from publishing any identitify information about a child. so in the UK I'm quite sure it is illegal for any media outlet to publish a name of a child from a court case unless the court allows it. Media publishing a name with out consent from a court document would definitely be a scandal. (Its also important to note that countries in the UK all have their own legislative framework on childprotection and safeguarding but I think it's the same in England)

As someone who is the child of a divorce they do ask the kids who they want to live with and take that into consideration. At least in my case.

I personally just don’t think either are great. Those kids are gonna grow up resentful of the situation and how it affected them.

Taylor is letting Sophie and the girls stay in her extra apartment (which is an investment property for Taylor) because Sophie and her daughters were staying in a hotel for the time being, due to the fact that she had planned to take them back to the UK instead of staying in New York. Since the plans changed so abruptly with Joe filing for divorce behind Sophie’s back and Joe withholding the girls’ passports, Sophie needed temporary accommodations while this custody and living situation is figured out in the courts.

I can understand how joes opinion changed on living in england. I wouldn’t want to move to my exs native land when my support system in in the United States. I would only want to live in the uk if I was with my partner. I don’t think the note should hold weight to be honest. But I also think one should live in ny and one in uk and just travel

For everyone sad about their “poor children” … they will be fine. Everyone experiences trauma and strife to some degree. The difference is their children will still have money to bail them out.

i’m not in favor of joe at all but with that being said, i’m not a fan of sophie thinking the kids should STILL alive out their lives in the uk after they separated. that might have been the plan when they were together, things changed and it’s not fair to joe nor those kids to have them live full time in the uk.

@@caketropolis that doesn’t really matter tbh and from what I’ve seen/heard, they haven’t been in the uk for awhile, they’ve been in the us while their mom was working in the uk. I’m not saying they shouldn’t ever go back, but the custody should be equal. They’re both financially stable and present in their children’s lives, one parent shouldn’t limit the other parent in this situation. As a child of divorce, it’s only going to mess with them
