That is pretty cool to hear Denny say they would immediately get him a car ready whenever he wants to

Denny Hamlin is going to be a great NASCAR cup owner. It's sad when we see how much Tony Stewart didn't give a damn over there at SHR for years. We need more guys like Hamlin and Brad K to own these cup teams. Lets face it. Mr H, Penske, Gibbs, Richard, and all of these guys are really getting up there in age. I really wish Denny and Brad the best, to keep NASCAR going.

outside of blowing up and finishing dead last at Sonoma, he had been leading in points, laps led, and is still tied for most wins. Kind of reminds me of Harvick about five years before he hung it up. I'm not sure how far Denny wants to keep racing.

@@jamiethornton6101 I don’t get a vibe from Denny yet that he’s considering it. He’s really in his prime right now. I would assume that as long as he feels he is capable of leading laps then he’s going to keep going.

I've said for a long time now, at least twenty years after looking at all the data that great winning drivers start to fall off after 16 years in Nascar, and in all sports really. Jimmie Johnson fell off the cliff hard his last two and a half years! Dale Earnhardt, Richard Petty, Darrell, Cale, and others after the 16th year mark stopped winning as much. All those years driving in circles takes a toll after awhile, and they simply slow down and can't compete with the new up and coming talent.

Why? Even if you don't like a driver, the competition level goes down when guys like Hamlin and Truex retire. Especially when they are still capable of winning. I wasn't a fan of Jeff Gordon in the final years of his career but it still sucked when he retired.

Tossed Denny and team under the bus two races in a row. Ty gonna settle it Truex can't control his anger or crying. And Denny's didn't mean anything he said.
