OK guys, this may end up being a bit lengthy, so I apologize now. I would like you to check out a young lady that has introduced me to quite a few young, new singers that I find very enjoyable. The young lady herself, (from Germany) I have been following for about 8 years (since she was 14) on KZread. Her channel is 'sina-drums', and she collaborates now and then with young up and coming artists from around the world. This is how I was introduced to all this great young talent. I'm going to put links to a few of my favorite collaborations, and hopefully, one will pique your interest. Also, Ian Paice, the drummer for Deep Purple, reacted to her doing Deep Purple's song "Burn", and made several comments throughout, and at the end he said, "Who am I kidding, I could have never done that at 17." kzread.info/dash/bejne/opaok7Crhd2oZbQ.html The first song is Barracuda by Heart. The young lady singing was 13 at the time, from Australia, named Victoria K. and the guitar player is named Andrei Cerbu 14, from Romania. (he is very talented) kzread.info/dash/bejne/p2ac0shxc8fcfdo.html The second is Black Dog by Led Zeppelin, with a young lady from Russia named Alyona Yarushina. kzread.info/dash/bejne/maiFx6mHeayog7g.html The third is Scarborough Fair, by Simon & Garfunkel, and the singer is a 10 year old from Canada named Jadyn Rylee. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qZaT2MOLd8SfecY.html The last is just Sina (with her Dad on guitar) doing Wipe Out at the age of 16. Good blues is about living the song as it is performed. Beth pours everything she has into each song. She ranks up there with some of the greatest blues singers of all time. My absolute favorite song she performs is Leave The Light On. She wrote it after one of the lowest points in her life. It is a song that doesn't shy away from pain but also leaves you with hope...much like every performance Beth gives.

I ran across a reaction video of this about 3 years ago, and it was closely followed by a reaction to the two of them doing "I'll Take Care Of You". Until that point, I never knew I was a Blues fan, but now, 3 years later, I have a total of 24 vinyl albums and 3 dvd's of them together and alone. Beth has a sad yet touching story of her past, and Joe opened for B.B. King when he was 12 years old. Anything with these two together is absolutely amazing, and they aren't shabby performing alone either.

Ah, you've found yourself a gem. Hart and Bonamassa are both brilliant, and together they are a real treat. Of course something like this takes time... But you get all the shades of the emotions expressed, both vocally and instrumentally, perfectly performed throughout. This is a fantastic song, and Harts interpretation gives you all the torment, rage, desperation, defiance, resignation... And Bonamassa's solo almost explains the musical ideas to the listener. (And damn, those notes like outcries ending in sobs...). It's beautiful. :)

@Ulrich von Bek Hello to you and hope you are having a great Weekend. That was an impressive all around performance, you could see that Beth was singing those lyrics from a personal experience. As for Joe, well what a great guitarist he is and we hope to do more from them both either together or solo but we hope to return soon. Just need to get BP1 to stop checking how long the songs are, blues songs can go on for days!!

There's nothing country about this song. It's a bluesy soul song, it's not twangy. Maybe you're looking for another word. The song is just not for you but you appreciate the talent. To me this is one of the most captivating live performances I've heard. I watch/listen to it all the time. Incredible arrangement of this song, Hart kills it and Bonamassa's solo even surpasses her performance if anything. Helps that I love long epic songs.

I don't know if you two have yet come across the greatest female vocalist on the planet but here is a link to one of her songs that will melt you into a puddle. She refuses to sign any recording contracts because she is convinced it will ruin her relationship with God. Sony Music US is just the latest in a string that have tried to get her to sign on the dotted line but she is adamant that she doesn't care about fame and vast fortunes, which she would have at the snap of her fingers if she simply surrendered to the music industry. Her name is Kim So Hyang and she's a Gospel and pop singer from South Korea and sings in _perfect_ English. The great David Foster places her right beside Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWqdqsptqaXec9I.html I can only lead a horse to water. If you won't drink then you are losing out on truly the best female vocalist walking this earth today. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️👌🎶😉

Too long a song! So what you're saying is there is no hope of you ever reacting to Nightwish - The Greatest Show On Earth! That comes in at a quick 23 minutes long 😆 🤣. Great reaction. Stay safe 🤘 ✌

Ten times better than Clapton. Guitarists and facial expressions? Where have you been? Clapton can't put that kind of emotion into his playing. He's pretty much technical.

I'm a blues fan, and I started my guitar playing in blues bands. But for me - problem. This just feels overblown both from Beth and Joe. The performances were both undoubtedly great, but just bigger than the song deserved. I would go for Christine McVie's version over this - much more vulnerable and relatable.

@donepearce Hey Don, nice to hear from you. That is a very fair comment, but you have also said why just do a cover and not make it different. They could have done it slow or give it the full beans. Hope you well.

@@donepearce I have to disagree. EVERYONE expects a singer, especially a blues singer, to interpret the material in her own way, to make the song hers, not just a cover of someone else's interpretation. Beth does that for sure, and I think Etta would have been happy with this version. As for overblown, nothing of the sort. This was a world-class performance, by both Joe and Beth.

@@donepearce But Beth and Joe DIDN'T "popify" the blues, they were true to the style of the blues and delivered an amazing performance. I think you're a bit too hard on interpretation. I've heard pretty much everyone do "Mustang Sally," and the performances differ greatly. Those differences don't make them inauthentic, they just show how a classic song can be made evergreen by new takes on it. Would you hate Etta James's version of Chuck Berry's "Rock'n'Roll Music" because she sang it differently from Chuck? Chuck loved it, I know that for a fact.
