I wish Biden had run. He either would have pulled enough away from Hillary to allow Bernie to win, or he'd be the nominee. Both of those scenarios are worlds better than Hillary as the nominee.

If he was running, we would support him in a heartbeat - in fact, many progressives wanted him to run - but knowing Hillary's corruption, it's hard to make that conscious vote.

Tr4newreck I know, but Biden at least has the real appeal of a people's person, I don't see him as evil, unlike Clinton. Unlike her, he is not a right-winger, he's an actual centrist, with an actual centre-left strike about him. He would have cleaned the floor with Trump's ass. The only thing not positive, at least for the progressive movement, would have been that less people who Bernie had bought into the party, would have left in disgust about him and instead support Jill Stein.

Man, 8 years and only now do I develop a full appreciation for Joe Biden - why didn't we get more of him for the last decade? I watched Obama's speech first and thought it was one of his best ever, and now I'm watching this - and it's better.

That was an incredible speech...

They can provide commentary by talking around his speech rather than over his speech.

You see, I watch the speech elsewhere and then I watch their reaction vids.

can't take any of these speeches serious knowing how corrupt and broken the system is. Feels like they're all bought!

The speech writer watches Game of Thrones - "We never bow, never bend, never break, we always move forward!" ... Sounds a lot like the words of House Martell of Dorne - Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken. That's not a coincidence.

The important thing to me that he didn't promote Hillary during the elections like Obama did, and didn't question Bernie's credibility or doubt why Bernie would be a great president. Biden is a really great guy

Biden would have been a great alternative.

They missed the "not a clue" chant! That was one of the biggest parts in his speech.

I honestly think Biden's speech was the best last night! Obama's was GREAT, but Biden was so powerful!

Biden was quoting Hemingway! "The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places."

You know a speech is great when you watch it more than once

It's also clear who's the most passionate and involved in that studio, when you look at how much the smartphone is used.

To those complaining about them talking over the video, they're just giving their commentary. I'm sure the actual speech can be found elsewhere online.

I might have voted for Joe Biden. But I still won't vote for Hillary.

Should've been him instead of Clinton. He would have done a better job uniting the party and liberals in general and of course would have been a better challenger to Trump, because just about anyone would be. As deluded as it is, the 'hillary is worse than Trump' thing is certainly closer to reality than it ever would be for Biden. He would have gone down in history as a fine center left (for the U.S anyway) president.

I know Biden is closer to Hilary's positions then Bernie's And I would love to have a women President, But ever since his Debate with Paul Ryan and then seeing other speeches he has given, I would much rather have voted for Biden because I feel he was a fighter, and he did understand my positions even when he didn't agree, he doesn't seem to feel as entitled as Clinton, or as vindictive, And I feel Biden is much more likely to be pulled to my side on issues rather then Clinton.
