The people in charge at the CIA are protecting the people in charge in the Senate… Trump said that they are not after me, they are after you. I’m just in the way. And here we have a guy using unnecessarily complex language to try to gaslight you into thinking that everything is fine within the FBI when it’s really not…

He answers the questions pretty well. These are complex and nuanced answers in which he can't give an answer with 100% confidence. What people are used to are simplified answers that are mostly bs. "yes of course the Trump raid was political" or "no it wasn't Trump is a criminal" real answer is we don't have enough evidence to verify either one of those statements.

Blame it on Rogan. I mean what do you expect? That a former FBI agent is going to spill the beans? Especially when he has friends and colleagues still working in the institution? The point is, that Rogan should stop having guests like this that clearly cant give an answer.

It's clear that he's back, and I think if you really look at the history there you'll confirm that. It's been some time since he was there and he is there again which also supports the idea that he is back, and I don't think you'd be remiss to say that it actually confirms it. Let me caveat that by misusing the expression, and do note that there are arguments in some quarters that his being back is subject to review and could be clarified, in retrospect, once things are a bit more clear.

Any trained actor could have produced what Baker said. Baker is made to be a tv show guest...he can express himself in a unique way that's easy to listen to. He answered the question, you just don’t want to hear it. He basically said, that he thinks Trump didn’t follow the “rules” because he doesn’t think they apply to him. There’s no way to know how serious it was without seeing the classified documents. That he knows people at the ground floor at the FBI who he trusts. There’s no way to be sure without the full affidavit how justified it was, but sounds like he’s leaning that way. It’s really a reasonable take from someone on the outside. We know they’ve been trying to get this stuff back from him. We know he already turned over a bunch of classified documents that he shouldn’t have kept. (Pretty sure him just removing them was a crime) While Trump could have declassified all of it, it would be clear if he did because the documents wouldn’t be labeled as classified or sensitive anymore. Again , I don’t think he’s capable of respecting processes, laws, or rules. I think it’s clear that he’s committed a crime, the only debate is about if it’s worth charging him. Trump should answer the big question, why did he want to keep this stuff so bad?

Can you really not place any blame on Trump here? At best he did something minor that he shouldn’t have done and when asked to rectify the situation, he pussyfooted around giving some but not all the documents. At worst, he knowingly took classified information and kept hiding some of it regardless of the DOJ asking him to cooperate. Those two, and everything in between, should yield different levels of punishment but at the end of the day. Trump did something wrong and didn’t fully cooperate to fix it. If that happens to you or me, we would have already been in court or jail. Do you want the elites to be treated differently? Or is that argument only made for people whom you don’t like?

While I wish it was him trying to be honest and show how well thought out and correct the "alt-right" really is by letting them say their defense, what it comes off as is entirely different and he seems to be trying everything he can to appease the left in any way possible.
