I used to work teaching a lot of the skills Mike does, years ago at a wilderness survival skills camp. We worked with a lot of children and families. Primitive tools, camping/bushcraft, emergency response/first aid, wild edible/medicinal plants, stealth/movement, situational awareness, teamwork, leadership, food processing, etc. If you asked me back then if any of that could be flagged as DOMESTIC TERRORISM, I would've laughed my ass off and told you take off your tin foil hat. The director and staff often leaned slightly left, but that was irrelevant. The work had NOTHING to do with politics. It wasn't "militant" in the slightest, it was about community, connection, practical skills, nature, and the real world. It seems quite clear by now that community isn't something our government actually wants to promote, and in some cases ALLOW...absolute insanity. There's a great need for the stuff Mike is doing. Politics shouldn't mean a damn thing when it comes to survival and protecting your community. The fact people can make this a political issue just because he's a veteran and works with firearms is really sad. Seen far too many apologists for this behavior from the government by naive political types because of that. That kind of thinking is almost as scary as the government's, here, and the ignorance of certain citizens will only enable more of it.

Yeah I’ve actually grown a huge distain for SF guys and this from a guy who was infantry 12 of my 16 years and even tried out for SF a year into my career but wansnt selected. I used to simp hard for the SF thing nearly my whole career but I started seeing that a lot of these guys seem to think they REALLY ARE the gods of everything tactics and my measily few Iraq combat deployments in the early 2000s doesn’t mean shit. Yeah I’ve gone back and forth on mike but at this point, I think he’s one of the good ones. Anyone who’s on an FBI domestic terrorist watch list is probably doing something right at this point.

That isn’t what happened and Mike knows that. He posted a video on Instagram a few years ago explaining why he shutdown the American Contingency website. Because it was becoming a gathering place for crazy militia types and he said he didn’t want his name associated with that stuff. I’m sure that is why the FBI looked into them. I was too.. Until he wanted 600 dollars for a 5hr one day pistol one course here in Socal. That dude dick rides his past experience hard and is a laughing stock in the training community. Documented on video, he doesn't believe in using defensive hollow points, fmj only and doesn't believe in dry firing, cuz according to him it builds bad habits that will get you killed in the streets. Good topic here, reminds me of the asinine paperwork I was coerced into signing on my way out of the military, in the wake of the air force violating my contract guarantee. Basically with no criminal record to speak of, the "worst case" interpretation of it could have me on such a list. I know for certain it kept me from being told why I was refused a census takers position I applied for.

i want the analyst and the supervisors above him who signed off on this to be fired and prosecuted. this is how easy it is to have your constitutional rights taken away.

In Canada, a law was passed very quietly in 2018 or 19, where the police can show up at your door and demand a field sobriety test, if you can't prove you WEREN'T driving in the previous 2 hours. If you refuse, you get arrested for resistance, and if you blow over the legal limit, you get arrested, lose your license, car and possibly your house. It happens something like this: a cop sees you leaving the beer store with a case and watches you put it in the back seat or trunk, while running your plates. He gets your address and waits for about an hour then knocks on your door. He states that they had a complaint of erratic driving and someone took down your tag and here they are. Of course, by this time, you've probably had a couple of cold ones and will blow over. So you refuse to blow at first. You tell him you got home forty five minutes ago and you had your first drink when you got home and have only had two beer. The cop explains that if you can't prove you were sober at the time of the complaint and refuse to blow now, you'll be arrested for resisting and DUI. How do you prove you were sober an hour ago? So you blow, thinking that two beer won't put you over, but it does and you get arrested for DUI and lose your car, license possibly your home and job. That scenario happened to an elderly gentleman in Ontario after he took in some empties and picked up a six pack just after lunch-time. The cops did exactly what I described above but the man put up a verbal fight and refused to blow, got arrested, taken to jail. He was charged with all kinds of stuff because he gave them a hard time; resisting, assault, drunken behaviour...stuff like that. He of course denied it all and when they forced him to blow because he was under arrest, he did. He had no trace of alcohol in his system. So they checked his blood for drugs and again found nothing, not even aspirin. The guy was in his 70's!! They had to let him go. He went straight to the press and that was when Canadians first found out that we're slowly turning into a fascist country with a complete moron for a leader. Good times! PEACE!

So we the people can't stop what's going to happen but take comfort in knowing that they only rule for a short time, that time is coming fast and it's 7 years. I'd contend that the "preppers = terrorists" trope was a thing from the get-go. As long as I can remember preppers (they used to be called "survivalists") were always portrayed as nefarious people. The mainstream shows that had preppers as the focus were used to ridicule or revile the concept of preparedness and anyone who participated in it.

I have had to prove I wasn’t somewhere, twice in almost 20 years. If I didn’t happen to buy something from where I was and had receipts. I would have been charged with multiple felony charges.
