I like this man and he and Taylor loved each other for six frigging years, that means something. Just out of respect for that, trashing at the transition out of couple-hood is just wrong. I don’t care what happened in that emotional time; big sad transitions can be messy. In Taylor’s dating years songs she has cataloged the dating experience in a personal yet everyman way and that is awesome. It’s the everyman element that makes it art. But comments about Joe, from whomever, that departs from art, that’s just destructive. And fans have been making them. I like this man. I’d like to hear that a friendship followed in time. I hope he does well in the world and has acting roles that enhance life. I kinda think he has that in him. It will be fun to see him in future roles. Oh, no it's not sad, he is gradually getting known, it's a matter of time, he happens to date the woman of the decade (2010, according to Billboard) so the fame and recognition she gets also affects him in rather a positive way, it's like he is the boyfriend of the bestfriend of half this planet, yes we all are intrigued and want to know him better cause of it, but we understand he is his own person and his art and talent are unique and mesmerizing.
