I would say Joe really changed Taylor’s genre by introducing his musical taste and perspective into her vision. If it’s not him, folklore and evermore won’t happen in that way. Like Midnights is back to her pop styles.

Interestingly Taylor speaks at length and Joe discloses very little. I think that reflects their individual attitude towards privacy. Perhaps that played into their recent break up. I have been struck by how different her new partner is in comparison to Joe. Give me Joe every time. He’s a great actor. Check out Conversations with Friends. Great series.

Even tho I'm dying to hear Exile ft William, I'm so glad that it doesn't exist on public, I'm so glad they keep their relationship so private like that. They're so good to each other and I don't want them to have problems thanks to media and social media. I don't want them to have unnecessary hate.

I am glad that she had a "soulmate" relationship for her to value that we don t need to have the same taste or the same inclinations to bond. U know. I had a bf a long time ago that i was in love at first sight (nowadays that seems incomprehensible.) And we clicked imediately over topics of conversations and we had talk for hours and he left me like very very painfully and abruptly bur he was really planning a long time before. Cancelled all the plans with me to make his own plans. But ok it was a tough recovery. I ve dated a lot after that and I found my husband and aince the beginning, when I fell for him was a completely different story. The other one was like a passion but like irrational. Although it s nice to experience something like that once or twice in life it s not sustainable longterm wise. As soon as I fell for my husband I had a feeling of HOME. and we are completely different and it s ok. We don t have the same taste but at home it's good and funny and new even after 16 years and two teen kids. Kkkkk and it is safe and calm at the same time. It s just nice to be next to him everyday That was my love goal. ❤❤

There’s other clips like when someone asked him if he was engaged and he essentially (politely) said even if they were he would never tell. He’s a very private person. More often than not interviewers are given a “no-list” of topics they’re not to ask about, the ones who asked the questions either snuck it in or it was a red carpet interview where those kinda lists aren’t given out (usually filled with more sleazy interviewers who are after goss than things to do with the actual work). A lot of the clips of Taylor talking about Joe are from the same interview or her talking about Joe writing with her.

this aged like milk. in hindsight, there was always something looming over their relationship. i have no trouble believing that folklore and evermore talk about struggles they’ve faced when they were together. i was never really invested in jow alwyn because the most interesting thing about him is his last name sounding kind of tolkien esque but oh boy does he sound pretentious in some of these clips.

Ever notice her body language around Joe.. She is embarrassed to be with him.. She doesn't trust him.. And they don't communicate intimately or even much communication at all.. All the photos they show of them are old as dinosaurs.. They are never together photos but always split photos..
