Jody Breeze on Boyz n da Hood, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, BMF, Gorilla Zoe, T.I. & Boosie (Full Interview)

Ойын-сауық

In this full-length interview, Jody Breeze clarifies where exactly in Georgia he's from. The "Stay Fresh" rapper explains that while he does represent the city of Atlanta, he's actually from a town called Griffin, which is about 45 miles away. From there, he talks about the family dynamics of his household, growing up, and the impact that his stepfather had on his life. As the Q&A session moves along, Jody Breeze reflects back on his early days as an aspiring rapper in school and the role that a radio station from Macon, Georgia (97.9 WIBB) played a role in launching his career. He also shares that Big Block and Jazze Pha were very instrumental in jump-starting his trajectory in the rap game.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jody looks back at the relationship between BMF and Boyz n da Hood. He also talks about the fallout between his former bandmate, Young Jeezy. He also touches on his BM's, his thought process as an independent recording artist, and his new song with Jacquees called "Vanished." In addition, he weighs in on the YSL RICO case and the recent friction between Boosie and T.I.

I agree his delivery, hooks, and lyrics are better than 95% of the industry, but his Jeezy diss was suicide,

Dope interview. I wanna make one correction, though. It’s THE LOVE OF MONEY that is the root of all evil. Money can do a lot of good when in the hands of the right people.

First off… I fuck with Jody he real dope rapper… but I think he put too much into being “real” and honestly being “real” ain’t all it’s cracked up to be niggas be capping saying they not in it for accolades…

His career didn't hit like he thought it would, so now he pretty much hopes the streets validate his "realness." If you say something enough, then people will begin to believe it.

Jody said Block was trying to put him in a group with Trick, TIP, and Wayne, but he didn’t think it was a good idea... That statement alone is enough for anyone to understand why his growth was eventually stunted.

Good interview overall but I don't think Jeezy needed the Boyz n da Hood look, especially at the reunion tour. Idk what happened in the studio or on tours but I heard joints from the Trap or Die and Streets is Watching mixtapes before I heard anything from Boyz n da Hood.
