I think had he stuck with Jeezt, he could have been the Beanie Seigel to Jay. Its hard to be in a group, especially at that time, with a guy that had a crazy buzz going on in the middle of that. Trap or die was such a movement, and then Jeezy came with TM101, no one in that group really stood a chance.

Nobody blackballed Jody....he just couldn't make "hit records" ....as a solo artist ....he never had a club banger that had the clubs on smash from ATL to MIA even though he had a major label deal and was plugged in with big dawgs in the industry such as Block...Jazzy Pha and Diddy....he never took advantage of the connections he had and how to politick in this music game...he gotta hold himself accountable..and stop blaming Jeezy and the "big dawgs" for his flawed career..stop this conspiracy shit

@@super-ft3wz where is your proof...show receipts....Jody had his debut album on Atlantic Records/Block Ent...with a production deal by Shonuff the imprint ...he had a budget and everything ..but the lead single "Stay Fresh" flopped And he had access to every platform to promote it ..the strip clubs..the mixshow and mixtape deejays...hot 107.9..V103...Bet 106 n Park... MTV jams... He just didnt take advantage of the opportunities he had by consistently grinding ... Cause he was too stubborn and felt like being in the politics of the rap game was kissing ass...it is what it is.... It's entertainment not the streets....and it's the business of entertainment He just didn't do good business

Definitely should be but he went against the biggest artist/movement at that time. He missed out on a lot of features and projects that would've grew his name. Pride is a hell of a drug
