I really like Jodie Whittaker as the doctor, she's cute and cool :3. I can't wait for series 12. @Michael McGrath could you just stop with the whole "R.I.P. Doctor Who 1963-2017" Bullshit? It's really getting old. no matter what you and your pals say, there are people like me that like Jodie as the doctor despite the ratings, writing, or flaws series 11 had. I enjoy all of her episodes so far including Ghost monument, Arachnids in the UK, Tsuranga Conundrum, and Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos despite the crap they get. Rosa, Kerblam, Witchfinders and Resolution are just the best. so go on, say it you broken record

I get that. I grew up adoring Rose and I met Billie Piper when I had just turned 18 and she was somewhere in her 30s. We had special passes so I got to meet and talk to her a bunch of times. I thought I was really mature being almost the age of her character in the show and I was a bit shocked when I realised how young I was to her. I wanted so badly to be her equal like the fans around me who were more her age. Instead, I felt about five. And then when I got to have a proper heart to heart with her and pretty much told her my whole life story, she became really motherly towards me, and I realised she related to me like her kids or maybe as an older sister or aunt. It was strange at first but also ended up being the best interaction I ever had with an actor because she was so warm and caring and encouraging. She actually was genuinely really sad to have to say goodbye and even called me and my Mum back so she could hug us both. I imagine Jodie Whittaker might treat you the same type of way. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I know this comment is a bit old, but I feel that I have to tell you something. If you don't like her, that's ok. But many many people don't care. You're just angry and maybe a bit sad. That does not give you the right to hate. Be a grown up and not a troll. You help no-one with that attitude. And if you say sorry everything will be fine. I'm not against you, I'm trying to help.

Was it respectful of Whittaker who was asked to watch some episodes to get an idea what the role is about and guess what is couldn't be bothered because she is not a fan of the show, thanks Jodie, great respect for a 50 year plus show by not having the RESPECT of at least watching it. Plus has a go at so called 'white males' and no female roles models when growing up, what like Ripley, Buffy, Janeaway and going back a little further Jamie Sommers. My god no wonder a lot of fans have no time for this idiot. And if you want proof about her lazy attitude towards watching episodes it's on David Tennents podcast.
