Jocelyn Alo Savannah Bananas Supercut!!!

Jocelyn Alo is a living legend in the world of women's college softball holding every offensive record there is. Her resume is too extensive to mention here, but in the world of softball, she's kind of a big deal.
Last year she was one of many special guest hitters/pitchers that the insanely popular barnstorming team, the Savannah Bananas signed. Her appearance during their OKC tour stop went over so well that the Bananas signed her for a one month deal in 2024! (Only a month due to her commitments to her professional women's softball team, the OKC Spark.) Her appearances dominated the Bananas' social media and she did quite well batting .266 in 10 games in 16 plate appearances. (Including some long opposite field shots.) Plus one walk off RBI. She's the Caitlin Clark of softball and we'll certainly be hearing more from her as the sport grows.
This is a supercut of all of her plate appearances, and all of the runs she scored during her 2023 and 2024 stints with the men in yellow. With the crowds that they have at College Softball fastpitch i dont know why there isn't a professional league for these awesome women to play in after college....

There have been some attempts but investors and marketing have been a struggle. The OKC Spark, (Alo's full time team,) went indie this season because the leagues haven't been very stable yet.

It's not a full league season, but you should check out Athletes Unlimited. It's a professional league that lasts roughly a month from late July to the end of August and features Olympians, National Champions and All-Americans. Hopefully there is a real pro league one day though.

@@tanneromurchadha yeah as a softball player I don’t like AU that much because it’s so different from the actual rules of softball and it makes the games such an individual sport because of that. I’m glad there is something after college but like you said hopefully they can have a more realistic pro league bc ppl will show up to see it.

Because no one will go watch. Because if people knew they could make money on it, they would. The only reason there’s a WNBA, is because it’s 85% black and the NBA subsidies the sport. If women’s softball was 85% black you better believe they would have a professional league. I would watch woman’s softball but I will never watch a female basketball. It’s a crap product.
