At the restaurant that i work at, the buser doesn't clean the doors, the hostess is the one that does that, also when bussing we don't use trays we carry everything to rush by have, we do have bus tubs, but those are mainly for the kitchen too use, but in the post they have let me use there bus tubs when bussing.

8 months? HAA I've been a busser a red robin restaurant here in Connecticut for over 181/2 years. No I don't love what I do necessarily, it's just the money that's decent that's all. But bussing is very hard and not everyone is built for it. It takes a special person to handle bussing and keep up with the volume of people. Also I buss tables on a Friday and sat night and Im by myself. But I always get it done. But good for you for making a difference. People will prob look down on you for bussing but those people don't realize there's a lot more to bussing than just cleaning off a table. Keep that in mind.

Don't go by what the video is having you do. Every restaurant is different. Fancy restaurants have very different bussing techniques than say a burger joint like Red Robin where I currently work as a busser. I don't use trays I use a bus tub. Much easier and it builds up muscles and hand grip strength.
