Yes assistant waiters can go and walk off the ports. However in some US ports it’s not allowed. Or if incase allowed you can go out after you finish your immigration which happens in your 1st month of joining. About internet 4 dollar for 24hours which can access Facebook and Instagram. And you get WatsApp text for free.

Assistant waiter doesn’t make tips . They work back dining. Only when in room service they can make tips. But not much 1 or 2 sometimes 10 to 20 dollar a day.

Assistant servers won’t get tips while working in the Back dining because crew won’t pay you. But once you move room service then you earn tips. But again when you move buffet service there is no chance of earning tips.

Bartenders earn a lot of money. I do not know the exact amount in salary. Burn they earn a lot of tips. It’s ten hours duty per day but some days it cross 11 to 12 hours

You will get offer letter within a week and after that you need to do your medicals, stcw according to company and you need to clear your visa. Take up to 7 to 8 months
