Joanna's hair😍😍😍 and Yannie's nails😍😍😍
I'm adopting Yannie as my Aunty
Might be kinda weird, but Yannie has such beautiful hands! I would trust her working on my head lol
I've been natural all my life and I want locs now. It's so much more than a hair style. It's glorifying my roots..no pun intended. I just feel like locs are one of the most beautiful expressions of love for and pride in afro culture. My 5 yr old son wants them too. So excited for our Journey

JoyceMD I love your videos, boo, lol. 😍😍❤️❤️✨✨
She’s got the most beautiful locs (and smile☺️)I’ve ever seen.
No locs yet, but I loved your nurturing voice and wisdom. You are not condescending like some other videos on the YT. I am really considering. Thank you for your knowledge.
I would love an update on Joanna’s journey. Where u at, Sis?!❤
Mannnn....she is so gorgeous. I absolutely love her beautiful locs. I want them. *Her nose piercing looks so good on her.
I want my hair played with like that. It looked like it feel good 😂☺️
Wow, Joanna is gorgeous. And yep, the scalp is skin like every other part of your body. Winter dryness, allergy season, etc.
She has beautiful hands!

It's the vitamin e. Is good for the skin and probably all the natural products got her hands looking youthful. I'm inspired 😁
I LOVE her puffy roots 😍❤️
I've decided to take Yannies advice about getting my locks done every month and staying away from products. I suffer from hair loss at the front which I feel came from having my locks styled every month and pulled tight from the front. Going to look after my own locks and just use natural oils.

Sandra Dwyer, me and you both. I recently (5-2-2019) had to get my locs cut off. After 17 years of growth. 😞 l had been warned, not to bleach my hair, but vanity ruled and reigned. My locs became dry as a bone/brittle/weak and thin. They would break off with the slightest touch/or manipulation. So l had them extremely uneven in length. The weight of them was causing me to develop "Traction Alopecia" on the top. I was in denial, obsessed with appearance. Looking good, but steadily balding on the top of my head. So.....l learned my lesson.
Her hair is so BEAUTIFUL! I literally wanna cry!
Yesss her hair is beautiful & Yannie is the bommmmbbbbbb
I love the thickness of her hair, especially those edges! Aint nothing like some thick edges. :) Beautiful Queen. Happy journeying sis! Yannie - I may be on my way! I've started and maintain my locs and have been the only hands to touch them - by choice - as a part of my journey. Your spirit is so wonderful that I'm convinced you may be the only one I'll let touch my locs and provide/transfer energy to my journey. (I HATED the thought of a "loctician") I'm both anxious and excited to consider sharing my experience but... who knows!! Thank you for sharing your videos, I've learned so much and you may be hearing from me very soon! Stay blessed sis. Happy journeying.
I can’t be obsessed with my hair. I got locs so I wouldn’t have to do my hair. I’m so glad you show us these videos. Thank you.
Joanna is so freaking pretty and some how her hair became even more beautiful after you did your thing! Good to know about the essential oils catering to specific needs. Love what you said about letting your hair be free and not being confined by obsessing over it! Edit: Yes lawd to her soft thick edges!
Iam so glad that this lady is explaining that all of these loc names and tricks that the shops are doing is bull. Thank you. Just starting my journey.
I need her nails on my scalp. The way she had her hands in her hair I would have went to sleep completely relaxed and comfortable 🤗
That very smart idea DO NOT LET EVERYONE TOUCH YOUR CROWN. In other words do not let everyone touch your head
Here hair is gorgeous!!! So full and thick!! Love it!!!

I wish you were in California I wish there were more queens like you that really promote healthy locks. I learn less is more. My locks improved immensely. Her locs are beautiful!! Yannie you are the bomb.
watching you run your nails through your clients' hair is so satisfying! lol
The loc community thanks you
Gorgeous and healthy locs. Joanna's locs are thick and beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful advice on loc care.
Yannie, you are such a beautiful spirit. I'm so thankful I found your channel.
omgggggg, her hair is GORGEOUS!!
your voice is the most soothing thing ive ever heard. i could listen to you all day. simply beautiful
She is real and honest. I would love to go to her salon. I do not really have locks; but I have gone natural for the last three years. I would like to get some good advise on products to use in my hair. Beautiful soul. Blessings
HER HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL SUCH A QUEEN
I loved that she has healthy hair by NOT going to a salon regularly. I wish I've gone back in time & never messed with my hair
Beautiful locs. And, so nice to priase the health of someones locs. Nice loctologist
Yannie your a beautiful soul and a great expert of loc care... I'm a New Yorker who currently reside in in Maryland. This is my 2nd set of locs but your the reason why I started my 2nd set. I will too stalk you until I get to meet you one day. My hair is very soft 3b and I've been loc'd 1 year thus far. GB I look forward to meeting you one day Sister Yannie 🙏❤ 👑
I love this. So inspiring and I love the positivity you spread. Simply lovely
Beautiful black queen she is 😍
Her hair is beautiful and the process was awesome! I've watched several of Yannie's videos but had to comment on this one. Joanna is my twin: in look, similar voice, and even facial expressions - it's weird but fun to find yourself in another place. Even my 9 year old couldn't figure out how/why I was on you tube. I'm the CA twin, wishing I could be on the East Coast sitting in Yannie's chair!! :) God bless!
Does anyone else regularly watch this video because it kinda feels like ASMR?

Waw I've learned something today. I just looked up what ASMR mean. Very interesting. Goes to show you never too old to learn. THANK YOU
Her locs are gorgeous! 😍
I stopped going to a loctian because I prefer the thick and fullness of my hair at the roots! I started doing my own hair about 6 months ago and I've never felt soooo free!😊 I use aloe vera juice but I'm going to try the rosewater and vitamin E.
Her hair is beautiful and yes!! healthy looking it also look soft too! I can't wait to get my locs done too! Thank you ..
I’ve just come across your page. There is so much knowledge you’ve shared. I’m 20 plus years in my loc journey and I’ve learned from your videos. This is my third video watched this evening. Considering the life moment I’m in I need to discuss with you one on one. I will look at your links.
....I'm learning...I'm gatheri3 the energy to go thru my locs journey...all is self! Thank you Ms Yannie for the knowledge.
Her locs are beautiful! Your hands are gifted Queen!
Thank u so much for this videos! U have saved my locs and scalp. I got rid of all my products and got rosewater mixed with tea tree Castro oil. Huge change in my locs, they are now soft, moisturized and no more Dandruff!
I started my loc journey last year. I'm loving it!!!
😱OMGEEE!!! You're AWESOME Yanni!!! When 👁wash my hair. I dnt feel like retwisting. I like the FULLNESS!!! Thnks 4 YOUR Healthy Hair TIPS!! God Bless u my sistah.
I wondered why my baby locs were crunchy!!!!! It’s that damn water . Not to mention the Texas heat !!!
Love it👍🏽😍Her hair is so thick and beautiful
I love hearing her advice, even though i do not have locs her knowledge has helped me grow my hair out.
thank you for the beautiful video's you do on loc's. the info is so needed 2yrs in on my loc journey and boy is it a full ride. I'm enjoying the ups and downs of locking my hair. I have embraced the beauty of it all. No Products...Got it lol
SOOOOOOOO elated that I came across your channel....Have been skeptical when I go (which is like one every four months) to my loctician about the products she puts in my hair, after viewing your videos, I have such a greater understanding of how to care for my locs - only oills and water (aloe and rose) moving forward. Keep doing what you do, very grateful!! Bless! (another trini empress**)
I'm so happy I stumbled across this page
I am just finding you and these videos. I could cry. I had locs and I cut them and it seems like my hair has never recovered. I truly wish I lived closer. I could use you, and your beautiful hands in my life. This is so beautiful. I am so willing to travel to see you.
Wow! The only thing I wish you had of done is put of a split screen of when she came in and when you finish. I so want to do locs in my hair. I think this has convinced my husband this is a good idea for me and us. He will have to help me, since I do have some health issues and he does a lot of my routine care with me, so we both watched this video in full. We loved it and cannot believe how wonderful the whole process was!!!
Yes n i love u Yannie!!😍😍😍exceptional work...n yes she is beautiful n her hair to die for! Great work ladies!

I have pin straight hair, but some reason i cannot stop watching your videos. They are very informative and interesting! Great video!! 😁
Shalom Queen Yannie 🌹, Your teaching about our Locs is Awesome! I appreciate your words, truth must be told. I'm on another journey (round 3) - letting go of all the 'stuff' I used in caring for my Locs . From this day forward, I'm keeping it simple. May The Most High 'YAH' continue to bless you, and give you peace! YAH BLESS.

Wow! It's really healthy and thick at the scalp. I really need to watch this. I hope you give product info. And your locs are beautiful as well.
Your hair is beautiful. I have been thinking of starting locs and after watching this video I'm definitely sure that I want to start them now.
I love it when you say don’t be obsessed with neatness - that’s me. Uneven lengths because my hair doesn’t grow evenly and it doesn’t bother me. I usually maintain it myself although I’m not that good.
Your client is a beautiful young lady! Gorgeous hair and smile.
Those roots look healthy!!!! Love the post wash results @5:20. Its nice to see a knowledgeable localogist on YT, refreshing.
This girl is gorgeous
your videos are so uplifting
I learned SO MUCH from this. Thanks.
I love your videos 👌 Sooo much information. I actually attempted to start locs twice but now I know I where I went wrong so I'm gonna try again...NO products and low maintenance. Thank you so much for your videos they definitely motivated me.
Her nails are everything!😍
Beautiful locs and gorgeous hands and nails(djm)... You are goals!!!! 🙌🏾
