Song dedicated to my late dad, Late Leka Vali. He was a very loving person to his wife, children, siblings, his neices and newphews. He always told us, and I quote, "thau a maulini veaina pigo mauli, thau aveveni veaina pigo veveni" chorus of the song.. translation he always reminded us to take after him, "live the way he lived his life, give with all your hearts and love with all hearts" ❤️ my Late Dad was one of a kind, a very humble man who always put his family first. He always made time for us growing up regardless of his work as a FIFO at the mine sites (TGM, Simberi). Although he never saw us off to school every morning growing up, he always made sure we had everything we needed. All his hard work, dedication, time, and sacrifices towards our education had paid off. He never once held his bank card, finances was all managed and handled by my mum, he never worried about how my mum spent his money, as long as all our needs were met then no problem. He never laid a single hand on my siblings and I, and never once, we witnessed him laying hands on our mother. Good parenting skills used by both my parents raising us. Therefore, we never gave them a hard time growing up. Learned from the best. Whenever both my parents argued, he would always avoid everything by driving out and cooling off elsewhere, then coming home and reconciling with mum before the next morning. He would always agree to whatever Mum says. Hence, my mother had great respect for him and his family. Both were best buddies. Always together till death. We surely miss our dad, and life hasnt been the same since he departed, we are thankful we have our on brother who has stepped in to takecare of us all. Thanking papa God for blessing us with another man in the family to protect us. I know my dad is so proud of the person we are today, smiling from heaven. We miss him terribly, but we are at peace knowing his resting and is now our guardian angel. "Daddy goimo ripamu iagera ulamagi olemana". No one will ever mend the gap you have left behind. We love you and are looking forward to meeting on that golden morning when Jesus returns. Emau amaku. I will always love you Daddy. Xoxo❤❤

Thank you, I can relate, thank you for sharing such a beautiful song. I lost my father last year, he's from Aroma, came here to Lae for work and married my mother. He spent the rest of his life here. Believe me when I say tears filled my eyes reading this. I grew up here in Lae so I don't understand much of dad's language so again thank you for this brief explanation, I miss my dad too, everyday.
