JK BMS LCD Display Monitor Illustration and BMS Overheads

Highlights:
• BMS Standby (off) Overhead 0.01mA
• BMS On Overhead 2mA
• BMS and LCD On Overhead 205mA
• BMS must be turned On to activate the integrated Bluetooth (App)
• The round silver switch is used to turn on/off the battery (BMS)
• Programming and control setting must be done in the APP
• The LCD only displays and does not control the BMS
• The App shows all three temperature sensors, one for MOSFET and two for battery cells
• The LCD shows the MOSFET and the higher of the two cells temperatures only
• However low temperature charging protection is controlled by the lower of the two cells sensor
• The balancing function in this setup has been programmed for top balance, likely during charging only

Yes with smart phone. You should use 24V heater or use two 12V heaters connected in series. I have not explore the RS485 CAN module yet.

Yes touch screen but just for the three tabs. The screen is always on but you can add a switch to the +12V wire for screen on/off control.

Hi. I have the same 4.3" display monitor. I don't need to have the monitor on all the time and need to know which wire to isolate with a switch to turn off the monitor only. I think the "RED + plus" and "YELLOW - neg" is the power supply to the monitor only, therefore, placing a switch on one of these wires should work. Is that correct ?

@@parkhopper3627 I've just installed a simple latching on/off switch on the 'Red' 12v power lead, and 'Yes' it turns off the monitor without affecting the operation of the BMS
