This is probably one of the best, if not the best, concert I have seen on video. This is the memory of special musicians I remember performing in the past. Chris, Caroline, Sting, and all of the individuals in the performance, I salute you and thanks for the music.

wow... I was there, and I was there for the two nights Chris Botti and Sting play, amazing performances on both days, I was front center. Best 2 nights of my life, ever. Thanks a lot, Peter Gontha for this video, brings back the memories. Hope Sting, Botti and Stevie Wonder will be back to Java Jazz again :D

Introduced to Chris Botti many years ago in Dallas. He opened for Sting. We will see him for the eighth time. In December - at Blue Note in NYC. He and Sting are two of the greatest ever.

thanks for posting this concert. Botti and Sting are great but Sy Smith makes singing like a siren effortless and Carolyn Campbell's violin energy is amazing. Compliments to the hard-working bass player, drummer, and band as well.

Couldn't afford the ticket back then, happy to watch the full concert on youtube as if I was sitting in the front row, putting my headset on and I got the best sound with no noise. I always adore Chris Botti's music and attitude also his never ending tour is such a great inspiration for me. Thank you Pak Peter :)

My Chris Botti story - grew up in the same town as Chris (Corvallis, Oregon). Chris was 2 years behind me in school. We went to different schools so I did not get to meet him initially, just kept hearing about this awesome trumpet phenom at the other high school. I played trumpet as well. Later, after my freshman year in college back home for summer and hooked up with my garage band buddies (I was playing bass). Chris showed up and sat in with us, would have been the summer before his senior year in high school. I was blown away and a bit embarrassed about my skill level I must say. Sorry he had to "slum" with us but he seemed to enjoy it. It was one time I recognized someone with epic talents at a young age and expected great things from him. He has delivered. Good on you Chris!

Excellent concert, with world-class musicians who have such joy in their art!

What a lucky to have a drummer like him!

I don't know why this is listed under Comedy, it is definitely not. It is brilliant musicianship and that's it. Cris Botti plays the trumpet like a violin - velvety smooth.😎

Wow, Sy Smith so beautiful with such a beautiful voice complimenting perfectly with the trumpet saw her at the Jazz Kitchen here in Indianapolis once She is also beautiful in person .

Chris Botti and Orchestra (circa 2006-07), by far his best! Gladys Knight, Paula Cole, Burt Baccarat, Billy Kilson, Sting, and so many more! Indescribably amazing. Best is performed at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles!

My mind flashed images of Robert De Niro, Elizabeth MacGovern, James Woods and Joe Pesci at this opening piece by Ennio Morricone from Once Upon A Time In America directed by Sergio Leone. Such a great movie I enjoy watching repeatedly. Cris Botti, thank you for your music.
