@@Go21place I was just saying that before we knew AD as being that guy, it was definitely JJ. With him being the only prolific playing for the Texans since Andre and dominating his position. Without him being hurt and missing season he’d 200% be up there with Reggie, Bruce, Lawrence and them. AD is that guy now tho. Man EATS doubles on a daily from the DT position and that’s insane on its own right. But JJs second best season is better than ADs best season

Dude, prime JJ was unfair. Nobody else had his combination of length, strength, bend, technique, and closing speed. One of the most alien athletes to ever play the game. I'm happy I got to watch him. His TFL record is stupid. He has the single season record, with 39, and the second & third place records with 29. Career total of 191. Next closest is Calias Campbell with 165, and he's played for 3 more years than JJ.

I lived in Houston from 2011-now. And he was absolutely the man in Houston, had a pleasure to meet him, DeAndre Hopkins, and Andre Johnson. And Watt was the most loved and most nicest person I’ve ever met, he literally took the room by his size, but dude was so cool.

I remember seeing an interview with Watt before a Monday night game against the Jets in 2012. And hearing him say how he knows when he isn't going to beat someone in his first 3 steps and if he doesn't have a good angle he tries to set himself up to swat down any dump off passes. I thought he had to be full of shit and that there was no way late in the 4th quarter he is going to still be doing that. But sure as shit, late into the 4th quarter he did just that. I walked away from that game amazed at how genuinely talented he was. His level of play in his 20 sack seasons is nearly unmatched. He changed how his position is played forever
