Jiu-Jitsu Escapes | Ways Out of Side Control, Scarf & Knee on Belly

Спорт

So much more at Patreon.com/KnightJiuJitsu
The most common request I get is how to escape bottom side control and its variations. Side control is arguably one of the most oppressive positions to get caught underneath, and you want to get out as soon as you can and as efficiently as you can.
In this video, I show some helpful ways that have gotten me out of some miserable side control positions and variations, including scarf hold and knee on belly.
Please like, share and subscribe!
Also, check me out on Instagram @knight_jiu_jitsu
and don't forget to check out Aperture Fight Focused for lots of great stuff coming!
Thanks for watching!

I agree! As a day 3 white belt (literally watching this before my 3rd class) I've watched many videos from many instructors, and I can say that I enjoy his break downs thoroughly. I'm still in system overload, but he makes this crazy intense art seem feasible!

I’m in the middle of “experiencing” the how, when and why of these escapes. Some of the other peeps in my classes seem confused as to why I’m not going spaz when they get in side control and mount. With pointers like on this video, I’m becoming able to see and take opportunities when I recognize them. Even portions of these moves/escapes work in other situations. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 thank you Eli! Good stuff right here.
