RIP Jinx 😢🖤

I'm so sorry for your loss. Loosing a pet is never easy and honestly their more than just pets, they're family. Once you've had time to process would you consider memoralizing Jinx as a plushie through Makeship? It's just a thought so no worries if it's a flat out nope Edit: it's just something I wish I could do for my cat Sasha who was 18 when she sadly passed, almost two years ago, and even though a plushie could never replace her just having something to cuddle that reminds me of her would have been a huge source of comfort during those incredibly tough and emotional times. I still miss her terribly and it's hard holding back the tears as I type this

This is raising them to live with people, I look for them naturally, they live on their own. I think they should live on their own, not feed them.

Aww poor Jinx... Dang I've got two forest scorpions too, but older... 7 scorpions altogether. Shame they don't live long. Dusk & Dawn are certainly both very cute.

I had an emperor scorpion that changed so many peoples minds on scorpions. Never had a single issue with her. If I touched her tail coming from behind and she didn't spin around....I would guide her onto my hand. Helga Von Pinchdenshting was amazing. Edit: I would love to breed them one day........but honestly I was never happy with the size of her enclosure and her enclosure was way larger than what most guides advise. Edit again: I also think they have far more intelligence than they are given credit for. (not smart by any means, but not the near robots they are often made out to be)

Sorry for your loss. 😪 Haven't lost any of my Ts yet (all acquired last year, all looking healthy), but my male Pampho mascara, Rimmel, just matured last month so he's probably got only 1 more year to live and loooove. 😅 I might preserve him, too. Such a beautiful spider. As far as scorpions are concerned, i don't have any, but I'll definitely keep some when I move to S-E Asia, I'll definitely look for local species to 'keep'. More like, settle them in some part of the landscape around my place and let it live its life around some dead log or smth. Looks like it's what they usually prefer over there anyway. Last year I caught a baby next to the outside kitchen, had to move it to another part of the yard before my in-laws would crush it. 😂 Hope it survived and is living its best life now. 😜 All the best to your baby scorps! 😎

Mine lived for a very long time and I think it is because I put dwarf purple isopods in the enclosure which kept the Scorpion free of mites

Hi Kat, I think you will find this video very interesting. It is on Travis McEnery channel and his last video is all about the Zebra jumping spider. The video is 35 mns long and very, very instructive. Travis is not a keeper and all his videos are about ”house spiders” and extremely well documented. Maybe you already know his channel... Flat rock scorpions live for over 30 years

I found one for sale at the pet place by me. But on the enclosure it says "only experienced people may purchase". 😩😩😩 I'm not sure why, but I really wanted it. I have many tarantulas, but have never had a scorpion

My Asian forest scorpion ate all her babies. They were still white so not sure why she ate them. Sorry for the loss of Jinx.
