Jue saved Jinhsi when she's a baby. Then she became a Magistrate. Then somehow... she must fight Jue now. That's what I get from this cinema, it's beautiful and sad at the same time

It is stated in game that the evil guys The Fractidus or what did something to Jue and she went missing.Also need to say that Jue has the ability to see or predict future so she probably knew whats gona happen.

Yes, it was her as a baby. The other child you saw was Changli. She is walking, reminiscing on her childhood when Jué saved her after her village was destroyed by Tacet Discords.

I read that mount Firmament passes time faster than the rest of the world so maybe Changli was on mt Firmament while Jinhsi was on the mainland given that Changli is supposed to be Jinhsi's mentor after this incident. I guess we will find out when the patch launches how right or wrong we are lol.

Something to remember about wuthering waves, When it Rains it's not always "Normal Rain". When a place has Tacit Rain and it's Heavily connected to the person who is there [Jinhsi] It will literally replay moments of the past. This is not just a flash back she can literally see her past replaying in front of her in person. [Except the moment of coronation that "is" a flashback in the back of her head because climbing this mountain to meet Jue reminds her of that same moment.]

Ah the retroact rain, yes. In the trailer, it is most likely that she is seeing/remembering the events through Jue's memories since Jinshi can see Jue's memories; the connection stuff that she explained in Act 4, can't exactly remember the exact details lol, correct me if I'm wrong. haha

From this cinematic. You will see that Jinhsi mother does not have white hair therefore her current appearance is the result of became a resonator thanks to Jue.

I also thought that same, not sure about walking in the snow but I get the idea of her seeing the past events as she moves and the baby being saved by Jue was her.

yes, it was Jinhsi revisiting her past. she was saved by Jué when she was a baby and got chosen to be the next magistrate. She now has to fight Jué for a reason that we don`t know yet, but we will find out in the next patch. Scar knows the reason, which is why he told Jinhsi about it in Act 4 or something. Also little detail: since Jué is confirmed to be an Echo that we can colltect, it also means that Jué must be a Tacet Discord. So judging from that we know that not all TDs are "evil" or have a ciorrupted mind. Maybe that is one of the reasons why they must fight? humanity vs. TDs

I feel like the parallels between her journey to the mountaintop to face Jue and her Rite of the Magistrate have deeper meaning. We can see her gaining what looks like dragon scales as she journeys upwards. I feel like this journey is a Rite as well, and Jue seeks to pass on its power to Jinhsi to perhaps become the next Sentinel.
