Jin is a poet, Awake, Epiphany, Tonight and Crystal Snow has such meaningful lyrics and fans can have different opinions to whom the song is about but I'm so proud of Jin his hard work has finally paid off now let's stream Tonight/This Night for him.

I have so much respect for Jin. He wrote a sad yet beautiful song about his wonderful pets. Not only does the song mean a lot to him, but anyone can interpret it in their own ways too. When I first listened and read the lyrics I immediately broke down. It reminds me of the struggles I'm going through right now and the song just speaks to me. It represents not only how I feel, but I'm sure how many people feel. I'm happy Jin created such a masterpiece for his own special reason. Even though we interpret this song in our own ways we must not forget, and must respect what the song is about for Jin. We love you Jin 💜

I'm so proud of Jin. He really came into his own through BTS. He's a songwriter, composer, and plays instruments. He also found a way to use his voice as an instrument with his vocal range. He's an all around talent and I just hope that he knows how loved he is and how much of a great musician he is.

You and I had a very similar reaction. At first, I was moved just by the sound of it. Once I found out what it was about, I was floored. Having lost many loved ones in my life, this is a song that I can relate to. I lost my Dad to a stroke and my uncle to suicide back to back 2 years ago and it was discovering Bangtan that made me smile again. I feel like I've somehow gone full circle with them because of this song, if that makes any sense. Music is healing, no matter what the language. Emotions are universal, music transcends everything. BTS transcends everything. I didn't think it was possible to love them anymore than I already did, but I do. Thank you, Seokjin. This was an amazing gift.

I lost a loved one too, my grandmother, I didn't see her often but she was still a big part of life and this song reminds me of memories with her

Jin also lost his much loved dog, jjanggu in 2017. It took a while for him to talk about it and you could see he was rly down for so long:(

You pronounced "이 밤" perfectly!(believe me. I'm Korean) He said he wrote this song for his pets. Why Jin's solo songs always make me cry!!!!! This song makes me recalled the memory that Jin held back his tears on V-live "Hongkong Eat Jin" as he talked about the death of his pet "Odeang". He always trys to not cry in front of his love, ARMY. He said he always wanted to show us good things. How warm he is!!!

The last phrase: "I'm afraid I'll be left alone after this night" this. This broke my heart. I lost my cat, my baby last year and this song hit so close to home. I'm crying so hard, I miss him a lot. Thank you Jin for this song it's so painfully beautiful I understand how you feel/felt José, i'm soooo sorry for your loss. And it's true what you said about the lyrics being relatable and with BTS being open up with us and sharing these kind of things.... I'm so happy we have them 🥺🤧💜

This sad emotional song is about losing someone very important in your life...could be a person or pet. Thank you Jin.

Not to sound dramatic, but I was sobbing when I first heard this even before I read the meaning and even read the lyrics. There was something about Jin's voice that says he's hurting. Then when I read the lyrics I'm bawling my eyes out because I lost my 7yr old dog a few days before this song came out. Thank you, Jin. I'm so proud of you.

Jin's solos always hit me so hard!!

The fact that this man dedicated this song to his loving pets speaks volumes! His soothing angelic voice both calms but also pierces my soul. You can't tell me you don't feel the love he has for them! You can't! Especially with that last verse "If this night passes, I'm scared that I will not see you again. If this night passes, I will be left alone" When he lost Jjangu he had both Eomuk and Odeng to comfort him, when Odeng went to join Jjangu in heaven he had Eomuk. But Eomuk has left him and now Jin's all alone. Yes he has his brothers Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook to comfort him. But Jjangu, Odeng and Eomuk were a comforter too and now they're gone! I don't know why I'm getting so sentimental over this, I'm not even an animal lover, but still this hurts me 😭😭😭😭

Jin seems like the kind of person who doesn’t show his true feelings because he’s just that kind of person. If he feels negative, he would mask it with a happy facade. Talking about his feelings? He would try to keep it positive. However in his solo songs, his feelings are true and personal. That is really respectable and genuine considering his personality.

I've been crying for an hour because of this song. My eyes really hurt right now but I'm sure I will continue crying everytime I hear the song. It hurts so much because as a pet owner, I really do understand Jin in this. "This Night / Tonight" is a masterpiece, Jin did really well with his song. The vocals is on another level. The emotions reached us armys thats why all of us got emotional even before we knew the meaning of the song.

Jin song was so beautiful and heartfelt I cry every time I hear it just like I do with Epiphany and the truth untold Odaeng was so cute and it broke my heart when I first heard that odaeng and Eokmuk passed away R.I.P Eokmuk 2017-2018 Odaeng 2017-2019 Eokmuk passed 2018 Odaeng passed this year Gukmul is a new sugar glider I've lost family members and yeah, what you said is true the song still hits and and you can feel it . BTS are incredible and they go through things and they don't have to but they share it with us and it makes us all connect because that's what music is that's how much you can feel and hear the raw emotion through the songs and the lyrics.

This song hit me close to home. My grandpa died last year our dog died not to long after. We had two dogs Duke and Bella and Duke died. Bella is still with us, but she was so depressed when he died it just made things even more depressing. I really understand you Jose. When you said Bella, my heart did something. Wow, I cried again. Thank you for posting this and for sharing with us, you didn't have to but you did, and we really appreciate it. ♡

I am the same age as Jin, and I still cry over my family dog's passing in 2012. That doggy allowed me to learn what it feels like to care for someone or something outside of myself. (I was already taken care of by my parents and family.) His disappearance and when I later found out of his demise, broke my heart in ways it could never be repaired. I feel and relate to Jin's pain. This is incredibly vulnerable of him. His soul is special.
