XCeleste Recording to this story 'Astronaut it's about Jin who is Astronaut alien 👽 Who also crash on earth, His space craft ship was damage and He got no where to get back to his planet, So another story He meant little girl name (Army) and She repsented us ok, Army show Jin the way humanity earthly life to live on earth, about fun about life, caring and loving spirt for himself and others, at first Jin the alien finds this strange but curious that he that decided to be friends with this sweet little girl, so the more he got to know her the more He let his guards down and feelin protective over Army (the little girl)..💜 So, Jin also been working on his space craft ship alot maybe a month or so and he finally got it fix, but couldn't get no signal from his planet at first, but he decide wait and head back to his earthly 2nd home to read more books, and doing crosswords puzzles while watching and listen the news and than he saw the light bean in air he goes put on his suit armor on to head back to his ship craft but he did He sees a Astronaut uniform which he sees Himself because Jin where's Astronaut white suit in his planet close to the moon, and galaxy Universe, so when Jin return to light bean his eye sparkle to white light, and deported back to his planet in Universe, with different colors mostly purple color which repsented us Army's as well and other different colors in mist Universe galaxy with Jin, but Jin also feels lonely in this galaxy Universe that he misses Army that live with out her that he found a new home on planet earth so he returns back to earth to go back home for her for us Army the end of this story. I guess the story of this MV is that he is from the outer world who landed on Earth due to a broken spaceship. He was living on Earth waiting for his spaceship to be fixed and get picked up. In the meantime, he creates valuable relationship with the little girl (ARMY). When his people finally came to get him on Earth, he runs and bicycles to the spaceship. Then, he realizes at the end, he wants to stay on Earth to be with his new family. It gives me the feels that the little girl represents ARMY. When he taught that girl how to ride a bike, it tells me that BTS is teaching us to be okay while they are away (because of the enlistment) and that in the end, they will always go back and choose us -- ARMY, because we are their HOME, we are their FAMILY. Jin's vocals was exemplary, the MV was cinematic and out of this world too. Such a beautiful masterpiece. 💜

Same here i feel like Jin tell us don't be afraid, don't be sad , we're family, we grown together we will always find a way to be reunite (when he is in his room at the end and we heard the ring of the Army (little girl) bicycle is to tell us that he know we will be there when he come back, when they all come back) he is not afraid so we don't have to be afraid It's really touching that once again they're transparent with us, they announce the enlistment and prepare us for it when they should prepare them for it Those guys are so pure

The girl represents Army and his Bangtan members who became his family, and no matter where he is going and no matter how long ( the enlistment) he will always come back to us because we became his family 💜 😭💜

Things that I realize. The girl is around 10 years old like the age of ARMY and BTS. Jin is trying to fit in ( like an alien trying to be human-like) He helped the girl learn to ride a bike like an older brother and tolerates her being playful, running around, and her pinching his cheeks just like how he is with his younger bandmates he took that role as a Hyung. He gave the girl the helmet because he cares for her and does not want her to get hurt ( Protect and love ARMY and BTS) He keeps walking not minding that someone bumped into him ( these are the ANTIs represented by people walking in the opposite direction opposite=anti). The Astronaut reminds him he has to leave time is running out he took a bike so he gets there fast. Decided to return to his family Truck represents BTS and HYBE picks him up and brings him home. OHH the room is full of memorabilia and representation of his brothers. there are 7 pillows, Books for RM, a Guitar case for Suga, a camera for J-hope, a terrarium for Jimin, old vinyl records for V, a speaker for JK, and a game console for himself. Finally, he got a fishing rod.

Did you notice the truck that picked him up is similar to the one Jin is usually driving in BTS vids - this time Jin is being driven home to his family (BTS brothers and Army)

The neck tattoo is Braille and spells out FOR ARMY and so does the crossword puzzle (the black filled in part) also spells out FOR ARMY. It's definitely Chris with the backup vocals.

The MV is the most BEAUTIFUL & MIND-BLOWING MV i have ever seen to be honest The POWER OF KIM SEOKJIN ACTING SKILLS OMG I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS SONG AAAAAMAAZINGLY AMAZING SONG SEOKJIN LOVE FOR HIS ARMY IS SO PURE

Jin basically taught Army how to ride a bike/let him go,because he knows we have the strength to handle this change (his enlistment/absence) and he gave us a little "fighting" cus he believes in us..and he is basically showing us he will always come back to us we are his home/family....... surprise Chris Martin and his Son actually did backing vocals for the song and Chris was in the MV as the reporter on the TV

Thank you, xCeleste! Some random thoughts of mine: The alien has been on Earth awhile. His hair has grown long. He's outgrown his suit, as you can see his shirt cuffs and socks. Even the lapels are scaled to a smaller size, but the wardrobe dept. made sure this suit still looks good on him! When he's helping the little girl learn to ride the bike, his clothes are fuzzy and oversized, and I guess that has to do with becoming comfortable and cozy in his new environment. The yellow sweater makes me think of Coldplay's song Yellow and BTS's song Butter. But mostly Coldplay's Yellow! The house has lots of repeated patterns of triangles atop squares, and this is a standard symbol for "house" or "home". The whole neighborhood gives a traditional "Home Sweet Home" feel with all the pitched roofs, sidewalks, grassy lawns, big trees and shrubs, and the sunshine. I'm glad Jin added some little moments of humor. His happiness is intertwined with his sense of humor. 💜😊💜

Gorgeous song, and gorgeous message. There's so much symbolism in this video. He's obviously the alien and he's been making a life here on Earth with the little girl (ARMY). Then his people call (military). He answers the call (the running) but along the way he gets flak from haters (the stop signs and the people running into him). The suit he's wearing doesn't fit because he's outgrown the person he used to be. When he gets to the ship (military) he's thinking about the little girl (ARMY) constantly. He finally leaves and decides to return home (2025). When he gets there, he writes "family" into the crossword because that's what we've become for him. At the end, when the bike bell rings, that's ARMY saying that we're still here and he comes out to reunite with us. Incidentally, ARMY were almost called the Bells, so... another symbol. I also think the drawings by the little girl are ARMY letters and fanart. This is such a love letter to the fans, and I'd venture perhaps to the rest of Bangtan as well. He loves us, he has to answer this call, but he'll be back because we are his home and his family. He knows we'll be there when he returns. And we will. Jin co-wrote this song with Chris Martin, and Coldplay played on the track. The backing vocals are by Chris Martin and his son Moses. Did you notice Chris Martin's cameo as the newscaster? And the "My Universe" poster on the wall?

Background vocals are Chris Martin and his son Moses... Chris is also the newscaster on the TV screen Some other thoughts (just my take on this....) Army: I think the little girl is Army. When Jin helps her and then lets her go is like Jin telling Army "You can do this...you will be ok" (regarding military since this song was written by Coldplay for Jin to Army as a "goodbye for now") Astronaut: Jin being the Astronaut lives a life different from most (celebrity) and many cannot identify with as that life comes with it own set of problems, but is it love and people who love you that make the difference and give you a sense of "home" no matter where you are. Spaceship: I thing this represent the military and how everything in life that Jin knows has crashed to a halt as he prepares for 2 yrs of service. The Spaceship leaving is when Jin can come back home Stop Signs: They are all over the town as if Jin is sayin you can now stop the criticism of when I will leave (military) or just stop the haters from talking period The Puzzle: had all the important words : Army, Star, Moon, Family, Astronaut, Cozy This MV is genius and so well done. Also the location which this mv was filmed is in Santa Clarita, CA at the Golden Oak Ranch studio lot, owned by Disney.

Yes I read that the background vocals were of Chris and Moses Martin. The pickup truck Jin hitched a ride in reminds me of "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" and in their MV Yet to Come.

I heard Jins explaination and I get it however in my mind I like to view the video a little different. Jin was part of BTS (the spaceship) and his time in the spaceship (as an astronaut) has come to a sad end for the moment (spaceship burning). I think the helmet represents a piece of himself and his time with bts (he brings it from the spaceship) which he leaves with army (the girl) and that makes him happy. From his personal point of view he is now on his own and running to an unknown future.( running down the street, bumped in the street... he’s just Jin the person. I think him looking at the astronaut in the street is a refection of himself and his time in bts (Jin the person v Jin the superstar). But he has army (the girl) and thats heaven and home. The spaceship (bts and his universe) is now leaving without him so he is alone again but he has the memory of army (lots of pictures, photos, letters, fun times (sprinkler) and memories with army) to keep him going until he returns. I think Jin riding the bike alone in the wilderness represents him going off alone to the military. The cuts back and forth between the girl on the bike and him on a bike, I think is Jin saying he will always keep army in his heart with fond memories while he’s serving. Jin loves BTS and Army and they became his universe and “when I’m with you there is no one else and I get heaven to myself”. Will miss you Jin. 💜

How many times when you’re walking down the street do you notice that even though you’re going straight, you have to yield to people all the time, otherwise they will just walk right into you? It happens all the time to me lol. I have to move so they don’t smack into me. This part of the MV reminds me so much of the MV for “Bittersweet Symphony” from the British band The Verve (came out in 1997 so it’s a bit old lol). The lead singer is just walking down the street, in a straight line and people just bump into him. I’m sure there is a much deeper meaning than this lol, but it’s just what I thought of. Anyway I cried watching this but I just watched his performance of this song with Coldplay and I cried like a baby even more. I’m sad they all have to go to military and Jin will be extra hard because he’s the first to go. I know they have to do it, I will wait for them but it doesn’t mean I have to like it lol. There is all kinds of little Easter eggs in this video but it’s hard because I’m sad. 😢 And Chris Martin and his son Moses sang back up for this song.

also, notice the stop signs turned to the sidewalks, not the street, then people bump into him. Stop the hate is the message there. Then the spacesuit, is Jin thinking;" hey I'm the astronaut who is this guy?" OR is he looking to see if RM is in there? ( old stage RM wore a suit like this.). So many memories in his room. Posters, solar system from My Universe, Chris Martins guitar, BTS stuff, I pause bedroom scenes so many times and each time I find something new. ). Plus, So much of Jin's humor. a space man in a business suit, and a bike helmet. all the scenes with the girl ( ARMY), tell us all more ARMY!

He is an outlander astronaut from a different planet hehe not necessarily a 'martian' or any other planet that we currently know of. He could be from a different galaxy or dimension completely since there are thousands of unknown galaxies in outerspace. And maybe perhaps in his planet they dress 'human' but not quite that's why he acts differently (somewhat aloof and quiet). Also in the scene where he looks at "earth's astronaut" (the guy in costume) im pretty sure he was just curious or like realized that this is how the little girl viewed him when he first landed on earth.. like she probably called him an astronaut similar to earth's (we can see this in her drawing where he drew jin in a space suit) He probably thought it was weird that earth astronauts need all that gear when in their planet maybe his species can travel space with simpler clothing.
