All of them will enlist in the army for 2 years and Jin will be the 1st to go followed by the other members....but he they will be back by 2025 they promised us that they will be back soon🥹🥹🥹and we will wait for our boys💜💜💜

I missed you lately

Any time I turn on BTS, my husband never pays any attention to it. I turned on Jin's video and he stopped what he was doing and paid attention. He even found this live video and watched it again. It is just a beautiful song. So wholesome

I was there, it was amazing, Jin's voice live is clean, magical, clear and perfect, his high notes felt beautifully great. the coldplay show is spectacular but Jin's presence made it even more magical. I still can't believe the experience I had. Simply the happiest day of my life!

I watched at the theatre- so jealous of all that got to be there live! Just watching I was a mess!! This whole BTS experience and then having to go off to the army is so weird and sad and joyful and as you said magical… It’s so hard to explain to people who don’t get it but they are missing out so severely I feel really sorry for them. Coldplay is my other favorite band I saw them in June for about the third time ever and just like BTS they put on a super spectacular fun show and it makes me love them even more that they have taken into their hearts are boys from BTS and shown them so much love.

This is a goodbye song to ARMYS because he'll be going in the military by December. He's the first member to leave. The rest of BTS will follow after in 2023. They'll be fine and plan on returning by 2025. We'll be waiting!!

All men in S. Korea have to spend time in their military, sometime between the ages of 18-30 (they can choose when, within that age range). Jin is the first to turn 30 (in December) so he's announced that he's going to be enlisting very soon. They all were waiting to see if the government would make them an exception (certain Olympic athletes and classical musicians have been given a pass before, since they represent the country in different ways). Many thought BTS deserved to also be given special treatment but the gov't couldn't make up their minds, so the guys have all decided to enlist within the next few months - that way, they will all get it done and be out around the same time in 2025. Jin wanted a special song to sing for ARMY and he asked Chris Martin (Coldplay) to help him with it. This is the song they came up with, all about how Jin loves ARMY. We're going to miss them all while they're away.

It's between the ages of 18-28 for men to enlist but since BTS were awarded the cultural merit medals in 2018 they were allowed to delay until 30.

@@crystalsnow1138 I get confused. Is it 28 "international age" (which is ~30 in the Korean age system)? Because if it is 28 in Korean age, then Jin should have gone two years ago even with the grace extension.

Their live performance is always better than studio versions. The energy, interaction with fans are everything.

I never realized how much Jin means to me until this enlistment news. He is my healer. It's really heartbreaking to say good bye but he will come back. I'm waiting for his come back. And after long Time I'm here again. Love your reaction anyways. Let's be more open minded and enjoy new experiences with open hearts.

Military service is 18-21 months and all 7 members will enlist after their own solo activities are completed but according to HYBE they will be done with their service in 2025. The reason military service is mandatory is because technically North Korea and South Korea are still at war there's just not active fighting at the moment but that can change at any time and they need to be ready just in case. And with lowering birth rates they need all the manpower they can get.

I am just assuming with it being two years for each of them depending when they go in it's not an accurate timescale

Jin’s goodbye song to Army will be gone for two years as is enlisting to army as it is mandatory in Korea . All rest BTS will be doing after him and complete there solo works so around 2 or more years won’t be performing together.💔💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

It is terrible that the S.K. government would waste the talent and commercial value to the S.K. economy and the global influence of BTS. Small, narrow minded officials that cannot see 3 inches in front of their noses. There are alternatives but the government refuses. So now the whole world suffers. There are reports of severe abuse of idols in the military and I am actually frightened and very worried for their physical safety and their mental health. It is just so incredibly wrong. Shame on the government.
