1982 to 2024. 42 YEARS YEARS looks refreshing 😍
I'm I the only one the feel there was more black entertainment options back in the day than now? There was so much variety back than..Thank you for posting

Ikr! And what little options we do have these days are very low budget with repetitive storylines. Its like we've gone one step forward and 2 steps backwards

@@DJGra-jy711 This comment makes no sense nor is my comment insulting anyone. It's a fact that if you took the time to research there were more diverse options for black people when it comes to media... You trying to be deep and failed miserably...nothing wrong with a minority group wanted to have more diversity within the community roles.. It's called pride...

I cant say how appreciative i am that this classic movie in its entirity has been posted, especially after i went through the trouble of ordering on Amazon and it ended up breaking in the VCR. I grew up with Jimmy kid,all the way from being a kid myself to being a 48 yr old man today. Such an engaging comedy thats so cute, silly and had a great cast!! I'll always love this movie and the older i get the more my love and admiration grows for it!!!

It would be nice to have it out on dvd. However, with the 45TH Anniversary coming up in 2027, we also need a theatrical re-release.
Brings back Alot of memories! My Mom took me to see Jimmy the Kid I still remember sitting in the theater at 9 years old
I dont remember this movie, but it was so much fun to watch! The cast was perfect. Maurice needed to schedule several appointments for contacts, thicker glasses and a walking stick in order to drive.
Heck yeah👍🏾!! I still have this on VHS!! This movie has the GREATEST car vs train joust ever!! This is a real forgotten gem from a long time ago. Additionally stars allota good actors. Thank you so much for posting👏🏾👏🏾

Perhaps for the 1983 CBS Friday night movie after an episode of “THE DUKES OF HAZZARD”, provided the announcer said, “”DALLAS” and “FALCON CREST” will not be seen tonight, but they will be back next week. Now, stay tuned for the CBS Friday Night At The Movies.”
This was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I wish you could get Gary Coleman's movie playing with fire

Too bad that the movie you just mentioned was a made-for-tv in 1985. Afterall, “JIMMY THE KID” was released theatrically in 1982, and it was the final film of the late actress Ruth Gordon.

@cristineconnell7803, Be that as it may, as far as “BLAZING SADDLES” goes, my oldest son (47 going on 48) has an idea for a sitcom series in which Archie Bunker’s grandson is a private investigator employed by Nero Wolfe, and he also has an uncle who’s younger than him, but those details will follow later.

The kidnappers should have gotten the money just for teaching Jimmy how to be a kid. And why was black entertainment better up until the 90s? Movies music tv was so much better then the black entertainment today.
