I love how Nelson, through Danny O"Day, constantly puts down the ad he is forced to do.

I think you are remembering Edgar Bergen with Charlie McCarthy. The dummies were very similar and Bergen was well known for great shows but moving his lips.

In Japanese: Soyuuga, Hosuteruega (Hostelüger), and Koji Nerusonu. And those names were all made up by me. Meaning in Japanese, Humphrey Higsbye has one of the most German-sounding names you can imagine (Hostelüger). Soyuuga is Danny O’Day, by the way. And his name is not romanicized as Soyüger, it stays Soyuuga. And Farfel and Ftatateeta are... Farfel and Ftatateeta (Faaferu and Fatatatita).

And FYI, if the dummies of Nelson got their own anime series, here is who I believe they would be voiced by: Farfel: Takahiro Sakurai (same voice he used for Tentomon) Danny O’Day: Ayumu Murase Humphrey Higsbye: Whoever played Sasuke on Naruto/Takahiro Sakurai Ftatateeta: Yuki Kaji And as for Nelson himself? He’d be played by Norio Wakamoto, but in his younger years he’d be played by the same guy who plays America in APH (can’t spell his name).
