It’s pretty awesome that they’ve been able to do this for so long. I feel like they have such a wide range of age groups of fans with different albums that really made an impact for each group. I’m 31... so bleed American was my shit. Seen them live a bunch of times and definitely one of the tightest bands I’ve ever seen. I’ll be 70 yrs old still bumping jimmy. Stay humble fellas and keep putting out great music!!

I have a fun JEW story. I was at a house party in AZ and these two guys were there after one of their shows. They started ranting about what a dork their drummer was, he always went straight home and never partied with them. So they asked me to call him on the phone, talk dirty to him, say I was a sexy girl who had a crush on him blah-blah just to get him to come to the party. I did it and he bought it but everyone laughing in the background gave away it was a joke and in the drummers words "now I gotta go back to bed all horny". 😂 Being a teenager was so much more fun than this 30 yr old crap lol.

Man, I guess I’m pretty shy.. introverted but had to see them live and have been lucky to have seen them 2 times.. first time was at the Fillmore in SF when they were touring for Chase this Light.. second time was the Futures 10 year anniversary at the Oakland Metro.. both times I was front and center lol. I just had to be there front row.. I was singing out loud with everyone else all the Woahhhhhh’s after… sing it back! and the ahh ahh ahh ahh’s in Polaris.. or the vein in kill.. I can’t help it baby this has been in vein.. (veinnn)… I’m still shy still an introvert but there you kinda let yourself go a little..have fun with everyone else who loves Jimmy Eat World, got a green base pick from Rick first time and a set list second time..

Clarity is most definitely one of the greatest records of ALL TIME! I wonder if that offends them in a sense that none ever says that any of their other albums are at that level. It's probably bitter-sweet in a way. Always being compared and held you a standard set by something you wrote 20 years ago. Sorry boys, it's the truth. Maybe it would be worth trying a Clarity 2. I know it's important to grow and mature and evolve as artists but you have done that for 7 or 8 records. I know that's obnoxious of me- especially being a songwriter myself, but it would be soooooo well recieved. Saves the day did it with Sound The Alarm and it was one of their all time best records.

Almost every major entertainer is going to be anti-Trump. The entertainment industry is largely partisan democrat, and to step out of line with that would be dangerous. Just look at what cancel culture does with people like Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle, just for being comedians. They are not at ALL conservative, but they ARE out of step with SJWism and mainstream democrat sensibilities.
