Because it apparently needs saying: - I'm a big fan of Daniel and his stream/career. The guy is super down to earth and one of the nicest sim streamers you'll come across. You should be subbed to him tbh. - 60k is a lot of money, but when you see it as a long term training investment/it's used daily for his work then it's no different from something like a CNC machine. - I'm very aware that I have an awesome setup. I was more making jokes about the comparrison of his super neat/looked after room vs my trash pit. - Yes this is a long video. I'll be posting all sorts of stuff on this channel from now one, including clips.

My favourite part is when Jimmy tosses the magazine to the side and you hear it hit an empty can. Love it.

I would love more of these long-form stream digests or highlights. I never have time to catch your streams any more and I'd love to get highlights and longer clips.
Jimmy, You right about the trophies as every object got a story to it or got a story behind it, My brother passed away on the 29th August 2022, Passed away all the sudden, My brother had a massive talent with Graffiti, My brother is known as the King of Graffiti round my ends and in Europe, My brothers skill with drawing was immense, I miss my brother dearly everyday, I got most of my brothers sketches and a few paintings, But the majority of my brothers paintings are on show educating kids or teaching the less fortunate of kids from families who ain't got much, So even in death my brother still left a powerful legacy in his art, Some pieces is extremely powerful, I still find life without my brother proper empty, I even stopped sim racing for about 5-6 months after my brother passed away, I only just stepped back on my rig, I am addicted to the Nords, I can also get a pretty good time, So much so I actually got the 1st place spot in RaceRoom competition in the BMW 325i on the Nords, I love the track, I don't think I am as fast as you yet, lol, I am not too far behind I think, lol.... Back to how every object tells a story, I will be doing a video of some of my brothers Graffiti soon, I will probably release on the anniversary, So people can enjoy my brothers skill at art as much as me, Honestly my brother was a bad ass artist, So yeah even the mundane of objects can tell a powerful story, Even the bleached hair tells a story, lol, Not sure what story though lol..... Nor you is an inspiration to many people Jimmy, Be proud of that achievement bro..... So amen Jimmy, I'm about to watch hammond rinse your Supra, An I thought you was a Escort RS Cozzie guy, lol......
Regarding Daniel's Rolex...$15-30k is what those things cost normally. One given as a trophy for the 24, with "winner" engraved on the back? They don't come up for sale much (if I had one of those on merit I'd sell my firstborn before it, so it makes sense that they're quite rarely sold) but it looks like $40-60k is likely what one of those is worth based on past sales. Maybe more now that Rolex prices in general have gone up quite a bit over the last few years.
Keep up the great work Jim. And can’t wait for the room tour 😂
We need more like this, funniest shait i've seen in a while :D
I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard. I really want to see all the things you did on the webcam in the final video, Jimmy.
I laughed to tears watching Jimmy's reactions 🤣🤣
Awesome guy. Great channel 👏🏾
Yes! totally want to see a video of your setup
this damn video was in my reccomended for DAYS lol when he said "from 2020 until now" I almost died laughing
My favourite part of Daniel's video was when seemingly everything is sat on a motorised base, mans living in the year 3000.
Description: Jimmy has a breakdown over the state of his desk.
This video is pure gold
I have been drooling over that LM-X wheel for awhile now, its beautiful and the perfect size.
Always be proud of your achievements and hope others respect those achievements. Think positive, be positive.
jimmy has never be so much relatable than here hahaha
I know Daniel as well and I laughed my ass off at this video because it's so him. Super nice but also super focused.
“Motorised legs are really important for me “😂😂😂 what a room! I should have tried harder in life to achieve. 👍✌️
Jimmy being the peoples sim racer we need you to be relatable. Stay the same and keep killing it Also keen to know how you like the logitech dd wheel. I found the ffb and performance to be astonishing
I finally went to a DD. Went all in and got a Simagic Alpha U with the FX Pro wheel. I love it.
In iracing, ams2 and rf2, motion platform give you tyre grip information that i find very useful. Overall, I'd say that it can be more of a distraction if one is only focused on competition... But for the fun factor , there is nothing like it. VR plus motion is an amazing combo

For us broke bums who will never afford motion - look up rigs with haptic transducer systems floating on springs
“Oh, F$*k off!” … My thoughts exactly 😂
Jimmy the man of the people
Lmao in this video. So much so, my dogs' gone bananas 🤣🤣🤣
Jimmy, youve had that same rim since I subscribed to you many many years ago. IF you ever decide to upgrade it dont you dare throw it away! That legend of a rim deserves to be displayed and remembered
PLEASE make you own version lol i need to see the broadbent twist
With a desk that clean, you know that isnt lived in propperly
Motion is another level and immerse you more I can’t do sikmracing with out motion anymore
I started sim racing in a cockpit in 2016. I've been continually building and upgrading ever since. I would say my rig is 99% complete as of a couple months ago. It is seat mover type motion with a G-seat. I estimate my total cost is around 15k USD but some components are getting a bit dated. It's a blast, but just illustrates you can get a lot of the fun niceties for a lot less money. There are gives and takes between different motion styles, but really boils down to dialing in the software. More is not always better.
the million dollar shed man!
please jimmy make the setup tour parody sounds like a good video
totally agree, the movements are just distracting and because there is no G force aplied during braking or acceleratingor anywhere in sim racing, the whole chair movement just going to mess up your brain.
I dipped in for the gear geekery, but I stayed for the emotional rollercoaster and self discovery. A++. 5/5. 10/10. Would recommend
This sounds like a sim race challenge.
Seeing your desk reminded me of Asmongold. You're the Asmongold of Sim Racing 😅
The simicube pedals and test the asetek wheel base, as thats meant to feel better than the simicube 2 bases.
100% make your own satirical version lol
This video is just Jimmy asking his chat if he should upgrade
Can confirm. Jimmy only do brake bias changes on his wheel. Doesn't even have headlights mapped.

Can get away with a pared down rig for events like the sebring 12 minutes
This was hilarious
A buttkicker or seatpad is better for feedback of the car in my opinion. You can also use that for flight simming.
I was a 3.5irating sim racer playing on a Logitech G27, clamped to an IKEA table, with a single 24" monitor. These rigs just seem like you'd be fussing with the rig more than you'd be driving?

Ehm, nope.. its like: you can run in flip flops, sure! but you could also buy nice Nike running shoes and shit gets alot better instantly
Why did I not know about this second channel and all the content?!
The pedals are 7 grand for the 3 pedal set.
Doesn't matter what Seat I use, always need to adjust it with memory foam inserts under the stanbard inserts to make it comfortable for long sessions.
8:24 I hope they finally get into force feedback for flight sticks again... Sim Racers get it all, but flight simmers have to basically not use FFB, or wait for 1 person, building 1 model, or live without it, witch is bad
"Jimmy Broadbent networth 65£"😂
Best video ever😂
I want a Jimmy sim rig video with dirty room!
CHEEKY LIL BITTAH CALLOJOOTY
Jimmy's reactions are hilarious. I relate because my room where I sim race is way more like Jimmy's than Daniel's. That said, many don't appreciate how much money it takes to race at that level (Jimmy knows of course). It can easily cost well over a million dollars to run a successful GT race program over a full season. So maybe it's not that surprising that a successful pro driver like Daniel has money?

You know what they say - how do you make a small fortune in racing? Start with a large one.
Oh my gosh, I was not expecting to laugh nearly that hard. Jimmer flexing on all of us peasants with the Casio's. I can totally understand the point made on the trophy display.
When I was homeless I had a tent set-up as a sim(tent) w/a generator, a upside down "toys ar us" push cart (modded) for a wheel base +pedals. A 34" screen. Playstation ps4. Now have HUD-VASH housing, dd wheel , 3 wheels etc. In 5yrs. Any difference, nah not much- any better(me/skill) not much. By the way I'm 77 yrs old. Don't get hung up on equipment.
As for the Rolex assuming its a standard all steel Daytona its worth 15 to 20 grand. If its a winners watch from the race its probably double that.
This video is epic
Very humble, lol i drive myself with a momo wheel from 2006 and pedals dont work 😂
Sim rig 65k, Rolex from daytona 1m, iRacing champion priceless 😂
"I don't want to be that guy"......"should I reach out to Simucube about those pedals?"
Perfectly capturing how the world sees the UK & the US
That is an amazing room, that room costs more than my house I would have to guess lol. :)
you have to sale lot of gloves hahahahhaa
didn't even put some cork coasters under his seat legs to protect his faux wood flooring. rookie move.
If you had to chose between: spending $60 000 on a sim rig... spending $50 000 on a real car and $10 000 on a simr rig... what would you choose? God damn i'm poor.
For so much money i would expect the monitors to move with the motion rig.

ok comming back to comment again on the watch. i collect them, and that daytona without being a prize from the rolex 24, would be a 65-70k watch in current market. i think its a silver or platinum one not a stainless steel like some are. if its a platinum rolex daytona that is a 110k watch, with the rolex 24 winner engraved on the back its priceless. literally i dont think ive seen one get sold for any price.
