GOD BLESSED ME WITH BEING IN AUSTIN AND HOUSTON IN 1981, I GOT TO MEET AND SHAKE HANDS 4 TIMES, BOTH ALWAYS HUMBLE, LOVING SOULS!. STEVIE WAS THE MOST GENTLE HUMBLE MAN , HE WAS ALWAYS READY TO GIVE SOME TIME TO A FAN, ALWAYS SIGNED THAT BEAUTIFUL SIGNATURE, JIMMIE TOO, NO HURRY UP SCRATCH 2 INITIALS, GRACIOUS MEN! LORD JESUS YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I MISS STEVIE, ILL HEAR HIM AGAIN IN THAT GREAT HEAVENLY BAND!!! GOD BLESS ALL!!!

I managed SW records and my boss was an old friend of Jimmie's. Many nights at Rockafellers, and I was at what may have been their first Houston gig. Cooters on Richmond avenue. Scott Rowland
