Did you notice the first "Look at me now" while the dancers are pointing and he says he won't hide that the choreography actually does have him hide; but the 2nd time with more pointing the choreography shows take a good long look, point all you want, he's unapologetically Jimin; now f* off!! Sorry, I added that last part😂. I am sooo proud of him, this song, his statement is strong and meaningful and I love him for it! Well done Jimin and thank you ladies for your rxn.

15:36 the poem Jimin has written on his body is in German and by a famous poet called Rainer Maria Rilke. the poem is called 'I live my life in widening circles' and was written in 1899. It's translation:- I live my life in widening circles that reach out across the world I may not complete this last one but I will give myself to it I circle around God, around the primordial tower I've been circling for thousands of ears and I still don't know: am I a falcon, a storm, or a great song?

As BTS was the group that got me into Kpop and Jimin was my first kpop bias, he decimated me with this. I kinda expected the cussing, but on the 2nd half where he pops up with no shirt on and the German poem on him, my jaw literally dropped and I fully disassociated for the rest of the song 😂 I'm sooooo ready for his album, I just can't wait. His shoulder is so iconic that even San did it during their BS&T cover on mama 2019 😂 And I love his pants too, my hubby even said "hey look, he's got your outfit on" 😄 I have black cargo pants like that, 2 different pairs of combat boots and some black jackets that I wear alot. 😁 My hubby calls my whole wardrobe "kpop, mainly Ateez, with a rock edge" like, ok, it's just how I have always dressed 😂

I love your reaction & having an open minded about Jimin here. I just watched another channel before u guys, and they're also 2 women like u ..and they were like confuse with the whole concept and somehow surprised Jimin having auto tunes (as if BTS not having auto tunes before hello?) and also they said Jimin not really "dancing" here🙄. But you are the opposite of everything they said. I commented they don't need to say confuse they can say they don't like the song at all. I said they don't need to like the song if they're really an Army they shouldn't put BTS in a box. Of course they wanted to progress & grow as an artist. As Jimin said in the lyrics "He will still continue to do it even if it hurts" he doesn't care about the oppositions anymore. Thank u for having an in depth wisdom of analysis here. 👌

I love your appreciation for the auto tune in this song. I'm seeing a lot of criticisms from people that Jimin used autotune at all in the song, regardless of the reason why he used it -- I agree with you both that it was intentional, and a creative choice. I remember hearing his voice for the first time and immediately being drawn to BTS because of him -- his parts in Blood, Sweat, and Tears, for instance (which you mentioned, ironically): pure magic.. I think it's like you said, Bri, "you don't like my voice anyway, so I'll do what I want with it." (roughly what you said.) What I think is most interesting about this song is that someone else could record this song -- they could take all the plugins and production decisions the same as they were taken when producing and recording this with Jimin, and it would still sound different, because the auto tune isn't used necessarily as a tuning plugin here, but as a plugin to accentuate the frequencies identifiable as Jimin's. I don't want to make my comment too long, but I just want to say that the choreography also showcases JUST how good he is with his dance (as if we didn't already know!)

We've seen a lot of people talking badly about it too. It's baffling! You don't have to like autotune but you can appreciate the reason that an artist is using it when it's applied in such an intentional way! I agree with you 100% on everything you said here. Speak louder for the haters in the back 😆!

“They look like they’re struggling” (min 21:53) the dancers are the demons and they’re covering their faces from god’s light..jimin is trying to be free but they keep pushing him back to darkness..at the end when he’s on white,he finally gets free and all the demons die….on minute 24:40 the demons pushed him back to darkness and he let them on minute 25:12 they tried to do the same but he won’t let them and he pushed them away..the back dancers are controlling the ones at the front ..(demons controlling demons)

Haters have said for years that Jimin can't sing. They've said he's too feminine. They've called him fat (as if). They've called him all kinds of horrible things, including some things that are so base I will never repeat them. They've also sent him death threats, as recently as October 2022 before the concert in Busan. He's had to just smile and take it without clapping back because of the constraints of BTS and idol-hood, but now that he's on his own, he can say what he damn well pleases, and he's had enough. The choreo is so good. The dancers keep forming squares and lines around him, keeping him locked in. When he tries to get out, they push him back in. They're the idol system, the press (who stole his mail and caused a scandal for him), antis, solo stans, toxic shippers, the western music business... all the things that have been trying to keep him down. And he literally rises above them all, even though they're trying to claw at him to keep him from escaping. In the end, he destroys them all and stands on his own two feet, a new man in control of his life. I can't wait to see what else he comes up with. This Friday and "Face"/"Like Crazy" drop can't come soon enough.
