It's a common statement that everybody makes when they come across Jimin: "there's just something about this guy" lol nobody knows what it is, even Suga's friend also said "Jimin's got something, he knows something" but can't tell what it is. There's a Korean word "끼부리다" which is close to describing it and BTS members have used it on Jimin a few times before, and I think the closest English equivalent would be "flirtatious" but that's not really it, that doesn't do justice at all to what Jimin has. He shows it off everywhere including on stage, and you can't really call his stage performance a "flirt" so...It's a combination of his natural talent, well trained skills, the personality, the energy, the charisma and the general aura about him that you can't really put a word to. Jimin is who got me into BTS cuz he stood out at first for some reason, and if I show BTS videos to non-Armys, Jimin usually is the one that catches their eyes and make them go "who's that guy, what's his name". There's just SOMETHING about Jimin truly XD sorry for the long comment, just needed to get it out lol

Whilst I dont disagree with Jimin having mastered his feminine qualities and using that to attract, many rookie idols state they love him because of his amazing dance performances and powerful charisma. I dont think men simply like him because he has a feminine charm, I think they genuinely find him impressive as a man.

@@kuroneko8343 i never said they only gravitate towards him because of his feminine charm. i said it's because of his duality to master and openly express both sides of himself. most times, male reactors who love jimin can't explain why they like him so much and are confused about what it is about him. it's his unique ability as a performer to completely captivate the audience as well as his personality that shines through on and off stage. the western world isn't used to men openly showing a feminine side so i think that's one reason they're drawn to him off stage besides his talent. he has that it factor and usually steals the show with his dancing, singing and stage presence. they also comment on how cute/sexy he is hence why i went into detail about his looks as another reason. he's the complete package and a natural star born for the stage. men and women can't help falling in love.

I don't know why people always jump into sexualities. You can like a person without it being sexual. It's called aesthetic attraction :) Jimin just has that universal and ultra sex appeal. Jimin has certain features that toe the line of androgynous and I think “straight guys” are a little startled by them because if it were on a woman it would be universally attractive AND sexually appealing... partnered with a magnetism that he has and his duality. I think they are just a little alarmed that they feel attraction or even captivated by him and have to justify themselves lol

@Sophie Hwa I don't see androgynous features other than maybe his singing voice which is high and very sweet. But Jin is similar in that so I still don't see why those phrases and narratives apply to Jimin all the time. I'm fairly sure those narratives come from shippers (mostly het fetishisers) who like to imagine him as "female" of the pairing because he's shorter than most other members and very kind. Everyone has masculine and feminine features in them. It's just imbalanced in all creatures. Males are usually overpowered by "masculine" features and females by "feminine" (I'm going on biology here btw, not western standards of appearance for "real man"). Androgynous is almost complete balance between the two but I don't see it in Jimin. His masculine features still overpower. And if you're going to tell me that you consider being nice and caring as a "feminine" feature, then you're part of the problem. Physically? Still no. Full lips? No, because for Asians it's usual feature among males. Once again, if you implying he has many "feminine" features is based on western toxic standards of over-muscled hairy grumpy brut, then... well, people are stupid. Jimin has a strong jawline, piercing eyes, usual cheekbones, fuller lips but it's normal, lean fairly muscular and strong body. So, I disagree. If he'd had bigger eyes, cheekbones higher and rounder chin with jawline, then he'd be probably close to actually androgynous looks. Add to that long hair and give specific make-up, he'd fool people playing a girl. In reality, he's just very magnetic and charismatic which attracts people. Any people, regardless of genders or sexes.

Не знала про БТС ничего ещё 3 недели назад. Увидела маленький клип на инсте с Чимином на съёмке видео Идол. Его харизма в том коротком клипе свалила меня наповал. Я стала искать кто такой есть Чимин. Загорелась им и стала смотреть всё что связано с ним и группой БТС. Четвертая неделя идёт а я от них не могу оторваться. Мне даже стало за себя немножко стыдно что в свои 46 у меня краш на молодого мужчину из Кореи 😂 Вообще они все замечательные ребята, но Чиминишка для меня всегда будет лучшим. Он меня очень впечатляет. И я с этим ничего поделать не могу 😅😂💜

@@goldenhime8404 Я очень уважаю Чимина за его необыкновенный талант. Он слишком самокритичен и сказал Юнги недавно на его ток-шоу что можно было бы и лучше сделать альбом. А я восторге от альбома была. И я привередливая в плане музыки. Ведь это же его первое дитя так сказать и довольно достойно внимания всего мира. Вообще-то Я всех их 7-ых очень уважаю за их непосредственность искренность и разнообразный многогранный талант. Если честно, Я думаю что у кого есть шанс переплюнуть успех Чимина в сольной карьере так это у Чунгука. Подождём посмотрим. Выход его альбома официально в Июле, 14 числа. Недолго осталось ждать 💜
