I'm almost 50 and love to watch them all. Their dancing is so mesmerizing and innovative. But you can clearly see Jimin's training and talent standing out. And I love to see his artistic different looks. One day beautiful, one day handsome and constantly changing, evolving. But none of that is necessary to see the special human he is.

someone No, he's been a dancer since forever. It's his singing that he didn't practice much before debut because he hadn't sung until BTS and he was the last member to get in, not leaving him much time to be a trainee.

Ok..so that is why jimin is known for being perfectionist..he was trained with discipline..during his ballet/ contemporary dance lessons which only few men dare to take...and his talent was carried through his career... which obviously he really enjoys..

For me in blood sweat and tears I was completely mesmerised by Jimin throughout the whole video and being the first mv I had seen of BTS he was and remains my bias. Been a fan for two years now. Such a beautiful human inside and out

I'm dancing ballet and contemporary since more than 10 years now and I don't wanna brag or something like that but I think I'm good at it but.. this is one thing.. but it's literally impossible to be good at ballet AND hiphop and it's sooo incredibly hard to do and very very rare! Dancing changes your whole body deportment, not just while dancing but in your normal life too and when you do hiphop for a long time it's nearly impossible to switch to these elegant ballet moves and the other way round. There's nothing more contrary than ballet and hiphop. And the mean thing is.. the better you become the harder it gets to do both! But jimin is good at both and I envy him so much for this, every dancer dreams of being able to do that and really really not many dancers can! This is a really rare and special skill and I hope he knows that

I totally get what your saying....and agree. I'm a classical dancer too...and have learnt for nearly 6 years now...but when I did western...it looked like this hybrid of classical and western that's not very flattering. Only when I took a break from dancing classical and tried western many months later did it look worthwhile. The fact that he nails both of them simultaneously is amazing...

You make such a good point because so many dancers are classically trained in ballet but the minute you switch to a different genre, you're basically told to forget everything about ballet because the technique is not used in other genres. Many dancers fail at this but Jimin doesn't. He's THE BEST all around dancer in BTS.

Yeah, it's sad. Lee Hyun, one of their seniors at Big Hit, shared that Jimin always blamed himsef whenever their performance fails. He even said Jimin always say "hyung, why am I so untalented". He always thinks he needs to work hard and harder in order to maintain his position, he always thinks he's not natural. But Jimin boy, you have one rare gift other people don't have, it's not dancing, it's not singing --- it's your ability to enchant people in whatever you do. And that makes you icnonic.

I love watching his arms in the contemporary piece with the other idols, they are so beautiful even down to the ends of his fingertips. He has great technique but also great artistry which I think is one of the things that makes him stand out. I find myself constantly rewinding parts of his dancing over and over again. Love to watch Jimin dance.

@@christinamanzella5074 contemporary is a form of dance that's mostly more on the graceful side but it doesn't mean the dancer doesn't need some skills to be that elegant. Jimin is so amazing! His moves are so smooth.

@@sonialee5001 I was immediately captivated by Jimin the first time I watched BTS dance. There was something about the smoothness in his movements that stood out for me. I learned later on that he was a trained contemporary dancer at which moment I realized why I felt a connection with him. I am a dancer myself, although in ballroom. Training does help one develop grace, elegance, proper posture and techniques. Having a great dance instructor/teacher is one of the secrets.
