    This shape was one of the first things I was ever taught by my father when I first started learning to play guitar. I think it is one of the most useful starting points for beginners. Just don't do what I did and rely on it too much!

    Out of all the thousands of lessons I’ve watched, this is one of the top! The wood shop at the end is amazing, actually teaching us to really absorb and learn the licks and how to manipulate them.

    Top guitarist and very easy to follow and agree with him in putting in the different riffs providing they are close to Hendrix's riffs if you want to change them slightly but will sound as good and make it your own by improvising as well and Hendrix didn't play it the same way twice and nobody can argue with the master genius that Hendrix was because his songs are epic

    This is my favourite learning method by far! It helps us to quickly understand what the players were thinking/visualizing. Could you do this for the guitar intro and solo for Led Zeppelin's Since I've Been Loving You? It's one of the best works by Jimmy Page.

Will MUCH appreciating you making similar lessons to other musicians, perhaps David Gilmore, perhaps Slash, all sorts of different guitar solos if you can break them down in this way - that's a killer lesson.     POW MUSIC, Why does Hendrix modulates switches keys to the E major pentatonic pattern#2? Hendrix also does this in Purple Haze solo which you should do a video lesson about if its E major pentatonic or E Dorian in purple haze solo.

    i am also a patron member but let me ask a stupid question here. i purchased a Les Paul ( i like the look andFeel), but i get the idea that a Strat would have been wise for more options and longer fretboard and such. so, should ik start saving for a Stat? ( most of the rockers on YT have a Strat.) sometimes my fat fingers do not enjoy the little amount of place around fret 12 and up. is this the same with a Strat? please advise ( no strings attached of course :) )

Ask rolling stone, and almost every single guitar Pol. They'll all tell you the same thing. Hendrix is Your guitar hero's guitar hero. Let that sink in. From flea, to the rapper Flowrida, to even regular people like Myself, we have tattooed this man on our bodies in worship. That alone should tell you that Hendrix has transcended his playing and His humanity.

Listen to Holdsworth or Metheny and tell me Hendrix is in the same league harmonically, technically or rhythmically. Hendrix is a legend indeed but people overlook his actual guitar skills for that very reason.

    I'm obviously not familiar with your process or how you developed FretLive, but is it something you are interested in selling? As in, is this software based and you possibly will sell to teachers in the future or is this more extremely meticulous editing. I'd love to be able to purchase the tools to do this if it was somehow viable to sell in software form .

    One great improvement you could make to your graphic is to change the note while playing it from the scale degree to the actual note. Once you release it the note would go back to its scale degree name.

    all Hendrix solos are one shape one scale .... (easier to remember with acid in your headband flailing and setting things on fire ....whilst no kid knows who John Mclaughlin is )

    These lessons are great. However, the constant interruptions to self promote are extremely distracting. I get he needs to do it, but maybe put it at the end. These are becoming unwatchable for me. :(
