Jimi Hendrix Hey Joe
Музыка
James Marshall Hendrix
November 27th, 1942 - September 18, 1970

I wonder how many have taken Jimmy's advice?
Mitch Mitchell is such an awesome drummer, he flows so well almost as if he's floating
Can you believe Hendrix didn’t like his singing voice and no confidence in his singing ability? Does anyone else love his voice like I do? Perfect voice for his playing style. Right? I like his voice almost as much as his playing.

I've met white citizens of America say they loved Jimmy's guitarist abilities but don't care t👀👉much for him and his written and singing it, but it was genius. So back then i imagine some they made fun at times about it; nonetheless I like all Jimi's songs period!👉👀💯😏❤ DBS4life 206iccness starring L-Negro 2life

@@MrPhantomman I'm pretty sure that's why his 1st band had two white dudes with Jimi. People weren't ready for Jimi in any way or form, even other musicians were totally blown away. Band of Gypsies when Jimi was the biggest act out there, his band was all black.
All that talk about his guitar, but man his voice is so special to, i simple love This artist

True. I am more of a fan of old school 90's rap, tupac and all that. So as you can imagine i focus a lpt on well written lyrics and a good voice. I would have loved if jimi sang a little more, his voice is so good.

A timeless masterpiece for a bygone epoch with rebellion, imagination and fantasy.Nothing can bring back memories better, than a song which he was once connected with.

I was very lucky to hear an English copy of the first album and sent for tickets when they went on sale. I was in the fifth row directly in front of the Man with the Guitar. Seeing Jimi was truly an experience I'll never forget.
This is a really cool version of "Hey Joe." I've never heard before. It is very clean with no overdubs. I didn't realize that it was live until I heard the applause of a small perhaps a s BBC studio audience. This is a great version to learn from because there is only one guitar. Thanks for posting.

I loved this song when I was 11. You know a dude has talent when he's catching the ears of a child with such an adult themed song.

My God what a unique and beautiful musician and soul. U didn't even have to know him personally to know he was one of kindest, big hearted, just happy to be playing guitar and nothing else dude to ever set foot on planet Earth and it's a damn shame his life was cut short like it was. At least we have his music, which is as beautiful as his soul.

I get the same vibe from it. They lived not too far away from us in Seattle and he's buried in Renton Wn. One day soon I'm going to bring my guitar and do a version of Hey Joe as a tribute to him. I don't know if I can plug in so I'm going to work on an acoustical version. Hell Jimi never played anything the same way twice so that gives me a lot of leeway too
A style like no other.
If you do not like this song - move on please thank you .. it is part of my growing up !

I first heard Jimi play Hey, Joe when I was fourteen. My boyfriend who was in a band took me into his bedroom at his parents house saying "you have got to hear this guy. He is bitchin!" He had just bought the vinyl "Are you Experienced " album. He put on Hey Joe. I had never heard anything like it. I wasn't sure what to think but by the second time listening to it I was hooked. I am now sixty five and it still amazes me! We were able to see him live about a year later in Sacramento. A great memory!
What a classic. Thanks for posting this gem.🙂
I really love your Tribute to Jimi .... The drawing, the text as long as the piece it self... Yes, he was an absolute outstanding Genious....❤️🇺🇸
This song is my favorite one from the greatest guitar player ever!

Phillip Rogers Ain't nobody as talented as Jimmy has been discovered yet, why? Because that man was a special person who had not just talent but a hip style and a cool voice that just mends well with his guitar. What's sad is Jimmy said he was going to die that the (illuminati but didnt use that word) that they were going to kill him. I often wonder if what he says is true and they did kill him. And an even better question, why did they do it? It's mysterious and kind of scary how a man who is so talented he can play a guitar with his teeth literally calls his own death and so precisely that it wasn't long after that that he died. I wouldn't of had a guy like Jimmy killed if I were "them" because he was the greatest there ever was and will be and even though dead, still is. He's a cash cow it doesn't make sense to me why they did that to him. Again, if, that's what "they" did.
Jimi Hendrix and Willie Nelson have something in common. Simplicity and Clean sound! Makes it so good man. Love them both!
Love it

.. Hendrix, friends and I were doing Acid in Munich, Germany when I was about 17 before the Experience was even formed. we were cruising with the stars listening to Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Charlie Mingus, Roland Kirk and the likes of which Mitch Mitchell, Jimis later drummer undoubtably got inspired by .. so were a lot of musicians that played with Hendrix as Noel Redding, Buddy Miles etc.etc. .. even Jim Gordon, Claptons drummer and Carl Radle, his bassist, as you can clearly hear on the phenomenal double Live Album "Derek And The Dominos" ... all of these musicians back then were heavily inspired by Jazz, Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce etc. ... Jimi later planned to record with the great Roland Kirk which unfortunatley never came about as we all know ... sad ...
