I smiled all the way through this production. I lived this era. I loved Jimmy V with a passion because he loved NC State. Jimmy was able to captivate a team, an University, a fan base, and eventually an entire nation. There will never be another Jim Valvano. Go Pack.

I'm a 27yr old NC State alum. I was born in 85, but my dad and all my uncles were NC State students at the time and I grew up knowing and loving Coach V. Now I watch these films and it makes me do everything he always said you needed to do once a day, laugh, think, and cry. You will always be an inspiration, even to the generations that never got to see you, RIP Coach V!

I watched N.C. State win the national championship when I was 12. It was and always will be a magical moment in my life. I remember watching videos on the their magical run to the final game and victory in P.E. class. Watching them fight to win night after night was a lesson in hope and faith and perserverance that I'll never forget.

I met coach V in Raleigh in the mid 80s , I saw him in a parking lot , I was just a kid a nobody. I spoke to him and he actually spoke back. It was a fascinating moment for me , he was the Man at that time. Damn I'm getting old , watching this brings back a flood of memories. COACH V.

no he won't. He's a good guy and a solid coach, but it takes more than that on this level.

No, unfortunately, he will not. He’s not smart enough or passionate and fiery enough.
