I'm sure you know this but if not, Ricki Gervais created the Office in the UK. There are about 15 episodes of The Office UK before the American company bought the rights to the show and made it more American. I would start there. Since that is the beginning of.

No. You don't need to watch the U.K office before starting the U.S. version.

My favorite is when Jim put all of Dwight's desk supplies in the vending machine.

The best one for me is the velcro one.

Stapler in jello. Those two really made the show for me.😂🤣😂🤣❤

A couple of his early ones not on here were when he put all of Dwight's desk supplies in molded jello or when he linked Dwight's phone to Jim's bluetooth. I remember the episode where Michael was listing all the things that Jim had done and Jim made a comment to the effect, that when you list them one after the other it seems a lot worse.

I know this by heart!!!!! I've seen it over 15 times all the way through and possibly way more than 15.

The beautiful mix of writing and unknown actors just killing it, with Steve coming in and seemingly gelling it together… just an instant classic that will live on for some time… like Office Space (1999). Just captures a moment in time in the American middle class experience.

So funny. I've just recently started watching this myself. I couldn't get into it when it was a weekly series. I think it's easier when you can watch several episodes in a row. You become more familiar with the characters. Oh what characters they are. We all know and may have worked with folks like some of them. It's fun to see how this big dysfunctional work family copes with the outside world and each other.. Such amazing and hilarious characters.

This relationship, with its looking at the camera, (because the original series is also supposed to be a documentary about a paper company), is much like the one on the U.K. Office between 2 characters. One of the actors, Martin Freeman, went on to fame in the series Sherlock and the Hobbit movies.

they cut off the jim being dwight prank off so short they took out the part where dwight says identiy is not a joke jim

the Asian Jim prank has to be my favorite, gaslighting at its finest.

Dwight was the only character to be in every episode in all the seasons and had at least one line.

I’ve only ever watched the UK version of The Office, will definitely check this one out too. Not sure if this is the place for music suggestions, but I’d like to see your reaction to Skunk Anansie, a British band led by a sister who calls herself Skin. Their biggest hits are “Weak” and “Hedonism.” The official videos are great but I also suggest live versions, particularly Weak at Pukkelpop. They are amazing. ✌🏽
