I don't know how old your car is, but I've never intentionally ordered satellite radio, but even on my base model cars since the early 2000s, they have Sirius/XM built into the radio. I'd never pay for a subscription, but if I was a high paid guy on the road all the time, it might be worth it. I'd dicker with them for a lower rate, though. I had XM once. Then other times because it came with a car. Each time it ran out, I dickered with S/XM and they offered something much better than $16 a month.

Joe really thinks podcasting is the new internet/microwave and is the cause for every invention and innovation going forward. A better comparison would be, podcasting to the internet, is like if microwaves had a 30 second max timer, and they finally released new ones that(drumroll) go for 90 seconds max(because the only real innovation to set podcasts apart is lack of censorship, which is back in full force, so isn't really even relevant)

Long before this all blew up I used to say how Opie would just be a buzzkill when Anthony & Jimmy would get on a roll. Even when a group of comics would get in the room together and they would create a comedy inferno... opie would run right in with the fire hose and just snuff it out at times. It was crazy when all the behind the scenes stuff came out and we learned that everyone hated that about opie also.

They played some cuts from Jeni's CD and Opie kept digging in saying it sucked and wasn't funny. Jimmy stayed quiet, Anthony actually said "that wasn't bad" to a couple of the bits (they were ok, but Jeni's not my cup of piswasser). To his credit, Jeni defended himself really well, called Opie out but ol' Greggshells just went psychotic about the Howard appearance. Ant and Jim stayed out of it, they knew it was wrong. All the times Lydia called in to analyze Anthony, she should have focussed on Opie's delusional paranoia.

It really was staggering how talentless and flat out unintelligent he was. It was like he was created as an experiment to see how dumb you make someone without being flat out mentally disabled. Hell, at times he was even slower to pick up on stuff than fucking Bobo. He fit the mold to a T of almost every Greek system member I've ever met (both fraternities and sororities). Those places are factories for churning out completely unremarkable people who are filled to the brim with inflated self worth and undeserved self confidence.

Where do you live that you subscribe to satellite radio but don't have access to unlimited internet? Can you go to a cafe, library etc and download a weeks worth of podcasts at a time?

when sirius came out in 02 , it was great commercial free every music genre uncensored and comedy etc.. what makes it great still is when you travel a lot (truck drivers) you always have great selection without luck of the draw seek and scanning

Ant and Jimmy were always my favorites on O&A, especially when they were on air with Patrice.
