I wish we could turn back time and get the HBO commentary crew back together. Jim, Larry, Emmanuel Stewart, big George, Max Kellerman and Roy Jones. I'd take any combination right now that included Lampley.

@@SteveSmith-qo8mm I loved Emanuel and yeah a lot of people seemed to dislike Larry and I'm guessing it has something to do with when him and Mayweather got into it. Larry wasn't my favorite but I didn't dislike him. That team was the best.

The never imitated, never duplicated voice of Jim Lampley. My favorite boxing commentator. He is the only commentator who can turn every exciting fight into a fight of the year candidate with his charismatic commentary. Other HBO voices I enjoyed listening to was Rjj , Manny Steward, and Forman. I wasn't a fan of Lewis' commentary.

Some networks give Jim his job back he neutralizes every sports analyst remark always enlightening to here a oldschool intellectual boxing professor Jim actually meant fight the exciting fight later if Tank choose fight Shakur bc it’s too technical short for running 🏃🏿 & boring he lower his stock from last fight rematch
