That's referring to Jim being there for Bruce after his parents death but it works either way.
That's the beauty about Batman and Jim's friendship like in the beginning Jim hated him because he was a vigilante and realized that he is a hero and that he's helping him fight corruption and they both share the same kind of justice.

The heart to heart in the elevator (Arkham Knight) was the highlight of the relationship. The game looks like a freaking movie, the detail on the retinal scan 4:39

it would have been really cool if you added the scene from asylum where Jim confronts Bruce right after the murder of his parents.
3:00 I’ve seen Batman disappear many time but how the hell did he do that if I was a criminal and he pulled that shiet I would have died of fear

Yeah most of the time when he disappears it’s more realistic, this one is just physically impossible, any movement that Batman would have made, Gordon would’ve seen. And there was no other exit close by meaning he is probably crouched behind a chair

Jim Gordon will always be the greatest friend Batman will ever have. I know some people might argue Alfred, but I think he’s more of like his father figure in my eyes.
I really was not a big fan of Jim in Origins. He can clearly see that Batman is a good guy by making other people commit suicide.
