Also, another thing that I noticed. When it did the little flashback of Batman's parents laying dead before him, Alfred's body is in the exact same position as his father's. It really hammers home that he was Bruce's father figure growing up, and if he lost him, it'd be like losing his dad all over again.

Ramon Corrales Alfred was always there for Bruce whenever he needed help, especially after the loss of his parents. He was willing to care and act as a father figure for him. Just like how Bruce was to Dick, Jason and Tim when their parents died. (except Tim's parents)

Batman Arkham Origins was a prequel. So Dick Grayson or first Robin was still a circus boy back then. Batman never met and sperm donated Talia so Damian wasn't born yet. Red Hood was Jason Todd, who becomes another Robin after Dick Grayson I think. Then he gets tortured and killed by Joker and Ra'as Al Ghul uses his Lazarus pit to get him back to life and then he escapes with a twisted mind (side effects of Lazarus pit) and becomes Red Hood who is just a good guy but kills people. For that all to happen, it would take them at least 10 years or more.

It's literally the same exact game as Batman Arkham city with a couple of new gadgets and moves, with an overly-huge map that takes forever to travel in, and a tremendously high amount of bugs and glitches that make the game impossible to play. It had its moments, I'm not gonna deny that, but it was definitely the worst out of all the other Batman Arkham games. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is. Just take a look at those beautiful fire effects to realize that this game was rushed and that the creators of this game did not put enough effort into it.

ArtinHeHe Don't forget the great bossfights from origins, the great extra challenges, mr freeze dlc was perhaps the best dlc of all batman games, multiplayer, great story and deathstroke alone makes it sound cool. Yes, this is not the best of the arkham games, but it certainly isnt as bad as what you say it is.

Man I love that transition from Alfred to Bruce's parents, to me it's like for that one moment Bruce felt like that helpless little boy again, unable to do anything but stare at there lifeless bodies.

The way Batman looks up to the sky when Alfred goes into a state of death makes me think he's holding back tears and looking to his parents for guidance

Definitely. His intention was no doubt to have Alfred's death anger Bruce to the point that he is ready to fight him to the death.

The fact Alfred, knowing the guilt and pain Bruce had carried for his parents death…In his last moments tells the boy he raised to not blame himself for letting this happen essentially. Bruce said in a comic that he had two fathers, Thomas and Alfred. Scenes like this between these two are always a favourite for me. Origins is such an amazing game, underrated as hell.

I will never understand the hate for Arkham Origins when emotional, epic, and overall incredibly written cutscenes like this, among other great qualities, exist. This game is a masterpiece.

When Bruce is yelling for Alfred you can hear how much he loves him despite their differences! One of the most moving scenes in any video game I have ever played!

God his scream at 0:28 so raw and angry. I love it.

"I know you just died and all, but let's get to work."

The delivery in this game, and the new cast is just amazing. Roger Craig Smith's voice is perfect at portraying Batman as the Brash and arrogant character he was in his early years. And he conveys the Batman's emotion even better than, dare I say, Kevin Conroy himself. And Troy Baker sounds just like Mark Hamill's version, but younger and a little more unhinged himself. The little difference his performance had is what made this joker special for me.

I have been playing them all in order. Now im on Orgins, i beat Asylum and City already. Chuck...it is phenomenal thus far. And I love the voice of Batman, even better then Kevin Conroy, even IF it is politically incorrect for a Batman fan.

Me too. As this showed that during this part, he wasn't Batman, but he was Bruce Wayne caring his butler. Good detail in my opinion.

The hopelessness in the police radio and the music, and the bats flying on top of Bruce. Damn, one of defining moments in Batman Arkham games series.

3:11 I love this scene so much and it really hits me hard because for once, we actually see Batman doubt himself and say that he can’t save Gotham.

I was reminded of this so much during the Batman…

If Batman didn’t have electrocutioner’s shock gloves and couldn’t save Alfred he would’ve become the Murder Machine.

This is one of the best moments of the game regarding story. In that aspect the best after final.

4:16 Dang, this part gave me chills!

I like that the woman at the bank flashes before his eyes. Every innocent he fails to save especially this early on in his career should be someone he carries with him or at least cares about.

The voice acting in this scene, the flashbacks of Bruce and his parents, his failures, the score, ALFRED’S SPEECH!! Perfect.

2:30 Neat detail here of the subtitles saying "Bruce Wayne" was pleading instead of Batman. Really shows just how important Alfred was to Bruce as a father figure and ally to Batman, and that without his help and ability to keep him in check, Batman was no more. Just a young man with a trust fund and too much anger..

The raged filled vocals from Batman are so well done.

I can't seem to find anybody talking about the soundtrack of this scene. It's simply magnificent.

Bruh I like how after being resuscitated they didn't bring him to a hospital, Alfred just walks that shit off.

This entire sequence is what made Batman's "goodbye, alfred" in arkham knight so hard hitting.

You know for some reason when he yells Alfred or in other times, he reminds me of Christian Bale batman

I always loved the relationship between Bruce and Alfred. Where he acts standoff-ish with the robins at times, his relationship with alfred was always a bit warmer and seemed to cut through the brooding most of the times. Anyways, it would have been funny if Bruce was like: "No.. they need us." and then called Superman. *Roll credits*

Alfred - you can’t - Don’t add me to the weight you carry. No… NO! Paramedic 1: 250. Charging! Paramedic 2: Clear? Paramedic 1: CLEAR! Come on, dammit! You’re going to be all right. I know I haven’t always been supportive of what you do, but I understand now. Go. They need you out there. I can’t defend Gotham. I can’t even defend my own home. Master Bruce - Radio: Any available unit, repeat ANY available unit. Please re- Master Bruce - Now is not the time for doubt. I can’t do it. I can’t stop them. No. You can’t - not on your own. I appreciate how the game made it a point to show how deep the bond between these two are. Remember, Alfred has been there to put diapers on Bruce. This kind of fear could break any man.

Fun fact: When batman revive alfred the name in the subtitle change batman to Bruce Wayne
