Yeah, Jim is the real deal, pure honest view of the world of WEC. He clearly is 100% passionate, dedicated and worthy of support! After this interview it is impossible to see Jim's car on the starting grid in the same light. He's got the David & Goliath thing going big time!

Big time - it's actually crazy when you compare to the budgets of Ferrari or Toyota!

You gotta love what Jim does, he is living every gearhead dream, build your race team, make a racecar and fight every race. I really wish that he succeeds with this project and gets customer teams, the passion he puts into this is outstanding and it clearly shows in this interview. How he talks about his collection with such pride really hits you, the man simply wants to go racing, no politics, no bullshit, plain and simple racing and that is something you don't really see often in this sport

Actually the first interview with Jim i have seen despite seeing them race for a number of years now! Enjoyable and informative. Thankyou mate!

I'm very impressed with the Glickenhaus team. They finished 7th and 8th at Le Mans in the hypercar division where they competed against giants of the automotive world - General Motors, Porsche, Toyota, Ferrari, and Peugeot on what must be a tiny fraction of e.g. the GM budget.

I just can’t with how nonchalant he is describing his absolute LEGENDARY collection 🤣🤣

What an awesome video. I met him once at one of his car collections. He is truly a legend for what he does in motorsport and the car hobby as a whole. Certainly more WEC content would be great.

Really good interview with an inspirering person. Saw him some years ago at the Nürburgring and was impressed by his dedication to the sport and respect for the location and race series (cause it was just VLN ... no WEC). That's from my personal view real sportsmanship!

I already liked his team before seeing this and this makes it so much better hearing how he feels and I liked his team initially because I shared those thoughts as it was a simple car that looks like older lemans cars and they are the underdogs

Love the realness and the willingness to take public shots at Aston Martin for messing about in the series. Great stuff

Just love the fact that he seems to have a genuine passion for motorsport.

Great job!! I have always rooted for Glickenhaus for all the years they have been racing the various classes. We need him.

LEGEND!! Ran into him at the last year at the 2022 Nurburgring 24h in the paddock area, got my camera ready and as I turn for a selfie he was gone!! Maybe it was just my imagination and I didn’t see him 😅…

Jim is absolutely correct about Aston Martin. The best evidence is how much it screwed up the GR010, which was built toward these changing rules and ended up as a very compromised car, both visually and from a performance perspective. It took Toyota quite a while to get it to the competitive level where it is now, and even now it shows reliability issues when pressured hard (just look at the inability for the team to fix the rear lockup issue at the end of Le Mans, or the regen issue they had at the start).

I’d like to see the Twitter trolls talk about clickbait on this one. Fantastic interview!!!

In the 2 years of the drivers parade, I have not seen him interact with the crowd (at one of the interaction parts) atall.

I admire JG for his enthusiasm and passion for racing but he’s now in a bigger shark tank now the major manufacturers have entered with there hypercars. He’s never gonna have there budget for testing let alone racing. Sadly, a self funding privateer, albeit with his own unique car, is going to find success even harder to achieve. I wish him well in his endeavours.

The 007 they could do a hybrid version of it using the bosh system

He brings up Cadillac, the underestimated racing brand. If you look at Chevrolet, you realize, Cadillac is coming from a giant in motorsports. More Chevrolets race on any given weekend than any other brand.

I'd be lying if I said I liked the glickenhuas design but I'm starting to like it.

If I had the means ($$$) I think I would buy a Glick.

Its a shame that they are so far behind the other teams. Even with the BoP. I dont understand why. Isnt this what the BoP is for?
