Jim Croce is a amazing singer even though he’s not with us. And to here this song slowed down makes it more country. Congrats man this is a really good version of the song 🎶.

I like it slowed. It has a nice feel to it

Still seems strange to me but when you have grown up with you the original, but change is not a bad thing either. Still has that raw emotion in his voice and the guitar work with him and Maury will always be timeless whether slow or at normal speed. Slowing it do has put a totally different slant on the music and the voice, in fact Jim sounds older singing it. I’m all for thins if it brings notice to what a beautiful duo we lost in Jim and Maury. x. Again, thanks.

Some say he’s still on hold to this day.

Of course this is just a slowed version of his song. And it wouldn’t matter I don’t want to be rude but he’s been dead for almost 50 years now I don’t think Jim Croce would care.

Let’s not forget he died a really young age. If you don’t know how old Jim Croce was when he died he was 30 years old.

I heard stories and read articles about his life; but, I was only about 4 or 5 when he was killed in the plane crash; so, hearing that “slowed to a minimum” felt like a disservice” to a great songwriter like Jim was. I guess in a way, he always will be to me.It “just didn’t sound right” to me
