It looks rough, but in truth it's actually the safest way to take that table bump. Throwing him through the table letting him slide down, rather than just dropping him straight down making him pancake his flat on the floor. Plus it looks way more brutal, yet way more safe. it's mostly tongue-in-cheek I suppose. For me, the last few months have reminded me what a masterclass Paul Heyman is. Consistently the best act on Smackdown. Not the Bloodline (they're doing fine too), but Heyman. I'd even argue that as of now, Heyman's segments are currently the best ongoing act in wrestling, period. This entire post-Mania stretch has solidifed Heyman as the best promo in the business. Better than Cornette, late 90s Rock, Austin and Jericho, better than full NDA Mr. McMahon, and arguably on par with Dusty and Flair in their primes in terms of physical acting and body language.

Summerslam makes sense, let this new Bloodline run wild on everyone until Summerslam where Solo takes on Cody. Then Roman comes back leading into Survivor series. Heyman guys group would be dangerous. Only thing is Punk is/will be tied up with that amazing Drew storyline likely through to Wrestlemania.

I don't trust heyman, i can see him doing this to turn on reigns. Done it to bork laser, rvd and cm punk

But he's clearly been different with Roman than he was with any of his other clients. He'd never take a beating like that for anyone else. And all he had to do to get out of it was lie and say he supported Solo.

That sounds like a Vince McMahon type of swerve. That won't be happening now

I feel like that would be an unnecessary Russo-esque swerve just for the sake of it rather than it making any sense...

I've read that Paul will go big in order to sell, apparently once when he needed to be emotional for a segment he wore the suit that he had worn to his Father's funeral. THAT is dedication, holy Christ.

Josef Samael is great on the mic and would fit in amazingly well as a manager given his history with Jacob
