whatever it was, staying with the F at the time, definitely got him some bank, and tons of fans including me. at the time Mankind was just some guy, but the Rock fued and then Cactus and H, i fell in love with Mick as a wrestler, an entertainer, and as a person. FOLEY IS GOD. at the very least, God better be half as awesome as Mick Foley.

honestly if Cornette came back to gain a backstage role in WWE he would hand in his 2 weeks and leave within the same month with how garbage that product has become that being said I doubt he'd ever be allowed near the company given Vince only wants people who will agree with him and his bogus decisions whereas Cornette would fight him endlessly to change things for what he thinks is better

The sad thing is, that is exactly what Vince needs. From what Jim and others say. Vince used to like contrarians, he liked people with opposite opinions who were willing to fight him on it. I'd say that mentality changed right around the time they fired Heyman and since then he hasn't changed. Heyman was the last person really pushing back on his childish gimmicks and silly nonsensical storylines. Now if anyone really clever disagrees with Vince, he will find a way to keep you on his books and basically misuse you so you can't go to any of the competition. Jim Cornette could save WWE, but Vince would literally have to hand all creative control over and we all know that won't EVER happen. And we also all know Jim wouldn't bother going back unless it literally was to save wrestling, he's got enough money so he is beyond caring about the extra 0 in his account at this point

The WWE has not been the same without Jim Ross in my opinion I used to hate On J.R back in the day I was childish and hating Coz I'm like..What the fuck he knows was my reaction Of him and I'm like now...This Old horse knows all about the business with tons of knowledge so if Jim Ross is reading this...you dont know me and I dont know you...I'm Just a fan of wrestling and to tell you I was wrong. Back to Jim Cornette...The WWE is not the same like its used to be Maybe Jim Cornette and a long side with Paul Heyman, these two badasses mind sets can take back the wheels of The WWE and bring it back to a right direction.

It's funny you're oblivious how offended most Japanese wrestling marks would be if you referred to NJPW as an indie tbh. Joey Ryan is getting the Benoit treatment to a far greater extent than Cornette is. Cornette recently has been on Dark Side of the Ring, was mentioned by Kane on A&E's WWE Most Wanted Treasures, praised by both Stone Cold and Kane again on the Broken Skull Sessions and was featured on the first season of WWE's Ruthless Agression documentary. Cornette also mentioned WWE producers contacted him about being on WWE's most wanted treasures but he declined because he didn't want to film during lockdown. WWE don't want Jim on their weekly television (which is also true of 99% of old wrestling personalities) but they're willing to use Jim. That's hardly the Benoit treatment, in fact it's the opposite, it's being used by the company that has a literal monopoly (in terms of audience share) on pro-wrestling.
