My dad in the 80s made custom boots for Andre once here in El Paso

We had a delivery to the same hotel a local Indy show was using for their show, it was for Ted DiBiase and his wife but the manager wouldn’t let me deliver it because I was a fan. Ended up letting me go an hour early to catch the last couple matches and get a pic with Ted

We need an omnibus of candid Midnight Express road stories. I love the old real shoot interviews just for the stories.

There have been quite a few done over the recent months especially when Jim and Brian memorialized Bobby's passing

A tenant of mine had Andre in his limo a few times in the 80's and he said he always tipped him 100 dollars....I like to think Andre tipped everyone 100 dollars.

A hotel with a planetarium would be a hell of a thing...

Andre could drink 48 beers in one sitting, so he could polish off a dozen Dominos pizzas, no prob.

A friend of mine once delivered 12 pizzas to Chris Jericho; he didn’t get a generous tip because he took too long to bring up the remaining wings, calzones, brownies and breadsticks in the order.

It took me 2 minutes to understand "704".

I love Jim, but people who don't eat the pizza crusts baffle me. If the crust is bad, the rest of the pizza isn't gonna be any better, at least in my experience.

Yeah it is. I eat pizza for the combination of the crust/sauce/cheese. The idea of eating the crust alone has never appealed to me.

It's very easy to eat an extra large. When ai was in HS after Football and basketball games eating 2 large pizzas. I was only 6'1" 170.

Now, I NEED to hear that story of Bobby Eaton (RIP) walking in on a couple in a hotel room.LMAO!

I know as he got up in age he couldnt move but he woulda had 4 or 5 great years I'd say but it would have been a paycut. He was making way more money in wrestling back then. The football contracts aren't what they are today.

Most pizza crust has no flavor unless it's a specific type of crust so just getting a regular pizza it's worth throwing out

I agree with corny especially the crust on chain pizzas like Domino's or Pizza Hut it's utter garbage and just a filler. Toss those pizza bones in the garbage or feed it to the birds. Now if it's a real legitimate handmade / homemade pizza from a mom and pop place in a brick oven then i'm all in.

Stale pizza crust? I think that its those hillbilly pizzerias Corny goes to that color his taste buds. Frozen dough and electric conveyor belt ovens give you horrible crust like you find at dominos. Handmade pizza dough using a sourdough starter and cooked in a real oven makes for an amazing crust. "Hey, I went to my first wrestling show... it was in a backyard with broken neons. All Pro wrestling sucks." Not all wrestling or pizza crusts are the same...

Andre probably could eat all 11 boxes of pizzas if he wanted to.

@@suchiuomizu nah he lied just to get on the show. Marks are weird like that. I met the big show when I was 7 years old in 1997 when he was the giant and I remember every second of it. I had to wait in line to see the big show and I’m sure if I delivered pizza to him and he left a tip, I’d remember it all. I did cocaine with Tully bant Cain who played for the patriots and he said “wow you’re a big as dude” and i said “I’m not dumb I know who you are” he laughed and he offered me a line and i did it but he only wanted me to do a little, he was so pissed that I gave him a 50 bag I had for sale just In case he’d kick my ass. But that’s what I mean, he wasn’t even a famous football player and i remember the whole interaction
