Gower seemed to focus on this whole "what if it was someone you know?" angle. He is absolutely right. I do know people who are affected by this. Those people are my kids, who are being force fed anti-science lies that I don't want them exposed to.

There's very little 'debate' in NZ these days. Mostly all we see are unilateral woke narratives.

I don't think it's normal for teenagers to be confused about who they are, unless they probably lie a lot so they won't have a strong character and have a weak mind and soul.

Thks for doing the 1st interview. Im one that signed up. You're the one who first brought my attention to this new push to remove female rights. "If you asked any child ' if they wanted to bleed for a week each month for at least the next 40 years ' who is going to say YES". Ask grown women if they'd give up this inconvenience and all the associated problems to give up having their children esp the women who were considered 'tomboys' as children - 99% would laugh at the idea.

The one good thing about the trans right movement is that it highlighted that men and women are not in fact equal and that we do have different rights.

My teen years in the early 90's, girls only high school. The most talked about issue was anorexia and bulimia. Plus everyone seemed to be obsessed with 90210 and melrose place. Never understood the obsessive fawning over dylan or the other guy. But most girls sadly, are easily led to agree and follow the group think.

Adding to that: anorexic + bulimic teens aren't told their false perceptions of themselves are legitimate and everyone will pretend they're fat and encourage them to diet and over-exercise.

"What is a Woman" is a somewhat humorous, somewhat serious documentary where a guy asks people what a woman is. Some of the people he sits down to interview are experts in therapy, medicine, and a transitioner who transitioned years ago.

Good interview until your end comments re labour. She isn't happy with any of the main parties. This was about women's rights and protecting them and protecting children. Paddy Gower used to explain politics with his charts and graphs in a way that was condescending. A tactic you use yourself from time to time. No fan of Paddy Gower but at least he tries, hopefully Jill is successful and gets him to balance things out. She is a good speaker. This is were the platform actually makes a difference.

Gender comes from the word genus. Gender is also a word used in cultural aspects. I think the word "gender" should be removed from the dictionary and replaced with "genus". Whereas "sex" is binary and much more clear.

Lack of priority on women's health, since when. Men pay 75% of all tax and receive roughly 25% of health funding. 90+ % of medical research is in women's health issues. Who's health issues are under prioritised! Give me a break

Birth injuries are often poorly repaired for example, also hormone imbalances are often unaddressed in mental and physical health issues despite being common factors. Women are more likely to get told its in their head or not taken seriously than men are. The health issues men face are compounded by the fact that they don't go and see the doctor, not because there is a lack of understanding or funding for their problems.

Men are routinely told by both society to suck it up and shut up women's breast screening To a point is free prostate exams for men arent. Then there's pink ribbon day, etc. By far the vast majority of homeless are men, most have either mental heath and or addiction issues, by far the vast majority of successful suicides are men. Boys are routinely ignored in school told to shut up and if they don't are force feed ritolin. Men rarely go to seek help for mental health issues because they're told to either suck it up or its your fault for being born as part of "the patriarchy" Medical schools routinely look on female applicants for places more favourably than men with similar academic backgrounds That's just a few examples, I could go on forever. Not just in the medical field but in practically all other social spheres men are under represented. The are hundreds of shelters for women and none for men for eg. That's despite the fact that most interelatiinship violence is bi sexual. In other words women are statistically just as violent as men and shock horror statistically more likely to abuse children Try in future to actually do some proper research and try to use some actual facts and logic. Not your feelings Here's another you stated that birth injuries are often under reported. Just 100 years ago 1 in 5 women DIED in child birth now it's about 1:100,000. Why gee maybe a whole bunch of MEN sacrifised health , family and in many cases there LIVES to help WHO, women and children Get a life and stop being a perpetual victim. In other words start actually behaving like a strong INDEPENDENT women. Not a whimp

Should not have evaded an assessment of Walshes doco, you don't have to agree with everything they say (and could make it clear they are a conversative and religious etc and polar opposite to your politics) but say that doco lets the ideologues have tons of rope and it shows how weak it all is and why they go 'no debate'. I think you take good bits from anywhere, and keep in mind women come from all sorts of places and some might be just as conservative but should have a right to talk about themselves and join with other women where they share interest. Otherwise very good.

The purpose of getting enough numbers to register as a party is to enable the party tk advertise it's message without being canceled for it. The whole idea of the party is to be able to talk freely about these issues that are only ever presented in a saccharin benign manner by a captured media, never talking the truth about the ugly harmful side if it.

Im over this detransitioning talk...it is rare. Even surgery and puberty blockers are rare in teens in NZ. Women are safe in a toilet, changing cubicles (my childrens primary school has unisex loos) This stuff was said about homosexuality 20 years ago. It is an overeaction. Simply be kind, tolerant and understanding to all is my philosophy in life. Sean is obsessed with trans issues and Posey. P.S. I'm a 45 year old woman.
