I went there. I was there the year they got them up until this year. It’s because they haven’t. The school doesn’t even have a drum key. But the kid who played the solo is hilarious!

Overall for a middle school this is put together pretty well. The tenors tuning sounds fine for middle school. However I would get mizzles for tenor sticks. They define the sound more. The current mallets y'all seem to have muffle the sound

I find it odd yet fascinating that grades under High School have the privilege to do drumlines. My Middle School used to have one but stopped a while back due to the majority of the people going into High School not being prepared.

not tryna be rude but do u rlly need to know that a girl can do it before u can? be a leader not a follower. when drum line first started at my school i was the first girl to sign up and now there’s like 4 girls, they were unsure to join but now they’re confident, it feels good to inspire ppl.

I can say from experience that it sounds badass, but also some high schoolers can't even get the counting right for something like that.

Please do not hate on them, they all learned by themselves and the band directors did not teach them. They asked the band director if they could do this and he said sure. Also, this is their 4th time playing it so its not going to be perfect. I know this because you can see that I am in this.

It’s always cool to see the different ways people play the same songs just a bit differently. In my school, in Jig 1, in stead of playing 16th notes on drums 1 and 2, I play skanks on drum 4.

The panda!!! It reminds me of Isabella!! She wore a cow costume to our hoco game (she’s drum major)!!! And she would wear cowboy hats and boots, other inflatable outfits, band uniform from 2008, everything!! Love her so much!

All I see are comments of the tenors being out of tune. Can somebody just give then credit for doing a good job

I'm from Texas and my school doesn't even have a full drumline. We have 1 quads player, 2 snares, and 2 bass drum players (one of which is me)

It's a middle school drumline. You can't expect them to have all the latest marching percussion.

I was at that game that day, I was in the main band and my best friend was in that section and is still doing drums at Hoover high school, and so is everyone in that video, they are at Hoover high school.

We semi how to drum line in my middle school but it was only for Christmas parade and an Orlando thingy so it wasn’t really official except for those times like we went up to Orlando to perform at Universal in middle school and we did a Christmas present those are the only two times really but we practiced a whole lot more like we were going to go to a football game
